Avent bottle question/nipples24 Aug 2004 11:38 GMT4
I know it is not recommended, but has anyone ever found any other
(non-Avent) nipples out there that fit the Avent bottles? I have a ton of
Avent bottles that i received in various gift sets etc- I will get use out
of them to pump and store with the sealing disc, but Rachel will not ...
Sort of OT: Teething in toddlers24 Aug 2004 02:33 GMT2
O.K, DD appears to be getting molars again.  She has had odd grumpy days,
but Saturday night was hell.  She took ages to get to sleep, and then woke
at 4.30 am and refused to go back to sleep.  After an hour, I relented and
put her in our bed.  I have tried this many times before, ...
Painful baby movements - please help set my mind at ease24 Aug 2004 01:03 GMT2
I hate to post -another- message asking for help, but I cannot find
anything from the archives of this newsgroup or from any other source
that talks about the type of painful baby movements I've been
experiencing.  Please tell me if you've felt similar pains or if you
Baby bedtimes24 Aug 2004 00:58 GMT12
What time should a baby go down for bed for the night, at various agaes? I
am not saying "what time will every baby go down", I am asking what time is
the best time that they ideally should go down, at a particular
developmental stage?

I know there was a thread about this recently but my news server is only
letting me see new threads so I can't access it - sorry.
I've just been told that I have GD, I'm 28 wks.
I'm not freaking out (yet) but should I be?

Hi Everyone.  I have a beautiful 14 mo. old little boy.  This newsgroup
helped me through MANY issues and questions about my first pregnancy!
I have an older brother and sister-in-law that tried to get pregnant for
about 4 years before giving up (yes, they went through all of the ...
UTI w/no symptoms??23 Aug 2004 17:58 GMT4
Yesterday I got a call from my dr. office saying I have a bladder infection!
Ugh, just what I wanted to hear. The weird thing about it is that I don't
really have any symptoms of one except that my urine has a really "strong"
smell to it. I have had this for quite some time probably ...

Attention to dogs after baby23 Aug 2004 16:49 GMT12
We have 4 dogs.  Before our baby came along they were the babies.  I always
talked about them, gave them lots of love, etc.  Now that the baby is here,
I have no interest in them.  It's not that I'm too busy w/ the baby to be
able to spend time w/ the dogs; I just have no genuine ...

Seatbelts23 Aug 2004 16:20 GMT1
My wife is just finished her 13th week and the lapbelt portion of the
seatbelt in the car has gotten a bit uncomfortable.  Is there any way
to make this belt any more comfortable, because her current solution
of creating some slack in the device is not very safe.

Rachel's weight, Isis, etc...question23 Aug 2004 03:54 GMT2
I went for a (free) weekend visit to the women's center at the hospital I
gave birth at to see the lactation consultant- I just had a few questions to
ask about basically etc. She had just finished up with a breastfeeding
class, and said she wished I had gotten there earlier to talk ...
weather in NZ23 Aug 2004 03:00 GMT21
Hey Amy and the other posters from NZ, I just read that you guys got a
big winter storm!  So, I guess it's not raining anymore (that is, if you
are in the affected area)!  :-)  I hope everyone's OK, though - sounds
like it was a bit nasty what with blowing some roofs off and all.
Baby playtime23 Aug 2004 02:58 GMT1
My baby is 5 mos (3 mos adjusted age).  She keeps herself entertained very
well when I put her on the floor with all of her toys.  My question is:  Is
there such a thing as a baby playing by themself too much?  There isn't a
whole lot that we both can do together right now, but that ...
