Steroid shots...30 Sep 2004 22:22 GMT6
Hi, I am 35 weeks now and due to high blood pressure my doctor says they
will be inducing sometime between now and when I hit 37 weeks.  Due to the
earliness of delivery, they gave me steroid shots a little over a week ago
to stimulate lung and brain growth in the baby.  I had ...
Update...30 Sep 2004 22:04 GMT40
All,
Well, we're back from Vegas, safe and sound.  We are officially matched, and
baby Addison is still tucked inside her birthmommy, safe and sound.  We
spent several hours with L, her kids, and her mom on Saturday, and again on

Induction Question30 Sep 2004 17:47 GMT4
I had asked this in my 37 week apt post but will try again;)
I know that inductions are more successful after a certain point in
pregnancy. For the first, if memory serves me right, it is after 41 weeks
but not past 42.  When is it for pregnancies 2+?  I am just wondering as I
Where have midwives been my whole pregnancy????30 Sep 2004 16:34 GMT11
My first appointment today with a midwife (not mine, but her backup) left me
feeling soooo relieved and...and...happy!  I had yet to leave a doctor's
appointment happy and if you remember my post last week, was almost in tears
after my last appointment.  Although I didn't get to ...
cervical position/changes to determine ovulation30 Sep 2004 15:57 GMT4
Has anybody checked cervical position and changes to determine ovulation?
If so, how accurate was it for you?  I did this my last cycle, and I could
definitely tell when I was ovulating.  I'm pretty sure anyway!  I didn't do
basal body temps, but I have been watching cervical mucous ...
Took test yesterday30 Sep 2004 15:39 GMT12
Well, this is my update to going crazy... I still am!  Oh, dear...
I took a test yesterday morning at 5 am, and it was negative.  I chanted,
"Turn positive, turn positive." but no such luck.  Anyway, AF has not shown
up, and I guess if she doesn't I'll be retesting next week.  My ...
Multiple c-sections (Sophie?)30 Sep 2004 13:09 GMT22
For any of you that have had multiple c-sections, have you ever experienced any
scar tissue pain during pregnancy?  I remember Sophie having problems with scar
tissue during Lewis' birth...did you have any pain prior to the section that
you recall?  I am 36.5 weeks with #3, which ...
Parenting - Baby Care30 Sep 2004 10:02 GMT1
Shaping out every novel associations and responsibility when a baby
gets there can be very demanding. Nearly every new parent is astounded
by what they be trained concerning themselves and their partners when
a baby arrives.
what on earth is going on?30 Sep 2004 09:20 GMT6
I thought I had got to grips with cervical mucous, I had the egg white c/m
along with a couple of twinges on one side 18 days ago which I thought
indicated ovulation, but now I have a few gallons of the stuff, but not at
all egg white, just runny, most similar to what I recall in ...
Silly question : sleeping position30 Sep 2004 05:46 GMT7
I know, from what I've read, that you're supposed to sleep mostly on your
left side, especially in the last weeks (I'm on week 33 or 37 - to be
disclosed tomorrow I hope). I don't think the baby is settled yet, which
won't worry me if I'm at week 33, but which will give me food ...

Am I the only September mom left??29 Sep 2004 19:22 GMT6
Are there any other September EDDs left out there?  There were a
bunch, but some (Robin T, for one, I can't remember the others)
haven't posted in a while, and I'm feeling a little lonely at the top
(or bottom, depending on your perspective) of the expectant mother
my child is huge29 Sep 2004 18:11 GMT15
OMG, he's so long that he barely fits into 3 month clothing (his feet
are going to rip through the bottoms pretty soon, heh heh), and his head
is above the head support pad on the snuggli.  I don't actually know how
long he is (haven't measured him), but it's fairly obvious that ...
comfort-who knew?29 Sep 2004 17:48 GMT35
Trivial info.
I have a denim skirt and a pair of jeans -both maternity- that have "real"
waistbands with beltloops that go under or midbelly.  Who knew they'd be so
comfy.  Wow.  For me they sure beat the band that goes clear to under my
