| EPP? | 14 Sep 2004 20:01 GMT | 10 |
My next appointment with the perinatologist is for an EPP. I know it involves an "extensive ultrasound" and a non-stress test How does this differ from a regular high-level ultrasound (which I just had one of last week-how much will things change in 2 weeks), and what else is added?

It looks like I'm likely to be on bedrest for the duration, so does anyone know of any good childbirth (or breastfeeding) preparation courses which can be done on video? It will be a C-section, so I don't need lamaze, but I know the hospital has a separate what to expect course ...

| early signs of labor, or does it start suddenly the second time? | 14 Sep 2004 18:33 GMT | 13 |
I'm going to get that mucous thing a few days before labor begins again, right? I feel like I'm waiting for that first contractions to start BANG from out of nowhere, and it's driving me nuts. It would be helpful if I could tell myself that I'll probably x/y/z first (like, lose ...

I am so upset. This morning Rachel scratched her face, and over the past couple days has scratched her feet AND her forehead. Time to do the dreaded nail trimming since I have put off since the last time, when I cut her poor little finger, it bled, she cried, I cried.

We were talking with some people the other day and Jeff mentioned Bonnie was not a big cryer when she was a baby. I looked at him and his 3 heads and said "Really?" hehe she cried colicky for almost 6 months and she did not sleep through the night until she was almost a year old ...

I am hearby fed up with my frumpy clothes, and would love something a bit nicer. Trouble is, I hate the styles that are around in the cheaper stores, and I refuse to pay $89 for a t-shirt as I saw the other day. Second hand isn't working - haven't managed to find anythign in my ...

| took my son for his third walk today! | 14 Sep 2004 03:06 GMT | 2 |
We've been out for a couple of walks already, but he slept all the way through both of them. Today, however, he was wide awake, which was absolutely the *greatest* thing. I don't know how well he was able to see, but he was able to see at least well enough so that he looked at

| Breast feeding Advice, Sort of a rant... Dont be mean;) | 13 Sep 2004 22:53 GMT | 51 |
I know that I am *suposed* to want to breast feed. I know it is natural and healthier and cheaper and all the benifits. I know that most women CAN successfully breastfeed no problem and some problems are to be expected.. but what if you dont want to but feel you MUST at least try?

Does anybody know if pins and needles has any bearing on being PG ? For nearly a week now my wedding ring and small finger on my left hand have been numb, like pins and needles, but it does not go away. I'm curious as to whether it is related to the PG or not, and if anyone else ...

| Just a question | 13 Sep 2004 20:08 GMT | 24 |
Am I the only one whose home is not a 24/7 open invitation for grandparents? Since those visiting traditionally tend to interfere/put a stop to anything I am doing, I ask EVEN the grandparents to call before coming so I can tell them if it is not a good time, and preferably to make ...

| October due dates | 13 Sep 2004 20:04 GMT | 5 |
How are all the almost-almost-theres? :) Knee-deep in childbirth classes? Waking up a zillion times at night, have to pee more often? Take some video of those alien-baby-earthquake kicks and tumbles, if you can catch them. Any belly hiccups? Those are the best. How's life

Nathan Craig was born September 7th! We checked in for our induction at 5:30 am and he was born at 9:48pm. We didn't get our epidural until after 7pm and he was born within 2 hours (and that included waiting an hour for the doctor!). I was stuck at 4 for
