new babies and old friends13 Sep 2004 15:25 GMT7
The tenth month!  Postpartum is definitely a part of pregnancy, so here
you go:
All our new moms, if you're still reading here and haven't migrated over

Okay, roll call time.  All you gorgeously pregnant nine-monthers, are
you ready to strangle someone yet, or are you still enjoying the last
few moments of your in-utero baby?  You're almost there!!  How's the
last month treating you all?  Everything ready for the birth, bags

Hi, everyone -- We're now all moved in to our new apartment and I'm ready
to get back to baby stuff (as opposed to packing boxes).  :)  I'm due Nov.
18 with my first, and my mom's flying out to CA from NY to help out for 2
weeks; then my MIL will come out for the next 2 weeks.  My ...

Movements feel different12 Sep 2004 17:06 GMT6
I've always been perplexed by people who would talk about being able to feel
things like feet, arms, and elbows when their babies moved.  In my previous
four pregnancies all I ever saw were undifferentiated waves, and all I ever
felt were lumps that could have been anything.
May due dates, TTC'ers, and new members12 Sep 2004 10:17 GMT29
Congratulations to any early birds who know they're pregnant already! Is
it a shock, or a much-awaited blessing?  How many pregnancy tests did
you have to take before you believed it? :)  Any symptoms yet?
For our TTC members, how is the journey going?  Need to vent, cry, yell
Really down this morning12 Sep 2004 05:53 GMT7
I'm super depressed and weepy this morning-and I know it isn't a good thing,
because my BP is through the roof, but I just can't seem to get things under
control.
I know part of it is that DH worked late last night-a combination of an
Pooh Stickers12 Sep 2004 05:32 GMT2
I went to TRU today to look for the Pooh Stickers with Rachel's name on them
(Jill's request?)  Anyway, there were lots of plain pooh stickers and Disney
variants, but NO name stickers.  Rats!  There is a great art/scrapbook store
nearby so the next time I go there (a great excuse) ...
VBA2C11 Sep 2004 22:45 GMT7
Anyone have any experience with or knowledge of the state of VBA2C in
the US these days? Barring some unexpected revelations from the OB or
my surgical report (or developments in the meantime,) I'm convinced
it's the right choice for us, but I haven't done extensive enough
help needed with electric pump problems11 Sep 2004 21:56 GMT2
My baby is 11 days old and I recently purchased an evenflo comfort
select electric pump. The first couple days of using the pump went
well, I was able to almost fill a 4oz bottle. However, we are now
having problems. The pump ecsrtracts a good amount of milk during the
Measuring fundal height - tape vs 'guessing'11 Sep 2004 06:42 GMT5
I was looking through my old notes, and realised that my first midwife
measured fundal height by finger width below belly button, then the 2nd (we
moved mid-pregnancy) always got a tape so I have actual measurements.  With
this pregnancy, my 3rd midwife is also just feeling, and not ...
TTC a gender question11 Sep 2004 05:41 GMT112
Do most people here believe that the tips for conceiving a certain gender
really do give you at least a much better chance of conceiving that certain
gender? How do you feel about it, it may work, or is bunk? (I.e., a boy is
conceived more closely after ovulation whereas a girl is ...
edd is this saturday and baby hasn't dropped - :(11 Sep 2004 03:43 GMT14
This is our first baby. I've been really calm through the entire
pregnancy, and my doc has been very positive, my weight and health
have been good, baby looks good etc. Except today at my appointment he
said that he is concerned because my baby hasn't dropped at all and my
Cleaning toys11 Sep 2004 03:02 GMT14
Any suggestions on what to clean cloth/plastic toys with when they fall on
the floor?  I would like something I could carry around in my bag so that
when DD's toy falls on, say, a restaurant floor, I'd like to be able to
disinfect it and give it back to her, but not have the ...
Taylor's on a box!11 Sep 2004 01:12 GMT15
So, I don't know if you all remember when Taylor did the modeling shoot for
Leapfrog way way way back in December of last year -- it was for a new
Leapfrog product, The Baby Counting Pal, for marketing and packaging.  They
told us that if they used her photo, they'd give us a ...
