| Flying While PG with Toddler & Umbrella Stroller | 10 Sep 2004 21:38 GMT | 15 |
I will be flying with my 2 year old son, my hubby and my big belly in the winter (I'll only be about 24 weeks, so it shouldn't be too bad). Since PG women cannot really lift/carry much, I was thinking I would push my ds in a stroller while my dh carries all the carry-on bags.

| OTC claritin (loratadine) ok? | 10 Sep 2004 18:57 GMT | 2 |
I posted the other day about my allergies and a few people suggested Zyrtec. When I asked my OB what I could take, he said OTC claritin, generic name loratadine, was fine. I'm in week 34. I know I was not allowed to take it (or any antihistamine) when I was nursing (four out of the ...

| Newbie needs help please..... | 10 Sep 2004 18:28 GMT | 2 |
I will be 20 weeks pregnant with our first child in a few days time. Apart from the usual morning sickness and generally feeling tired all has progressed normally until recently. I have started to get alarmingly close to passing out when I am on my feet

| first words | 10 Sep 2004 17:13 GMT | 9 |
I'm interested in hearing what you all count as being a first word. DS has had several words that he has used correctly for a week or more, but then quit saying them as he moved onto learning new words. His first was the word "up" at 8 months. He used it for several days

| pain after ultrasound | 10 Sep 2004 06:00 GMT | 11 |
Is it normal during a level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks to be in pain afterwards? The doctor pressed VERY hard on my wife and even adjusted the bed to get more leverage. This is the second time we've left his office with her in pain (Dr. Nadel at Mass General). The first time at ...

| Worries about Baby's heart, and weight (long) | 10 Sep 2004 03:09 GMT | 13 |
Gosh. I didn't know what "worrying" meant until yesterday. I had my 29 week appointment with my midwife. As we listened to Baby's heart, we could hear a sudden "hiccup" in the heartbeat. Strong, solid, regular, then, suddenly, a beat out of tune. The midwife said she was not

| Update on friends baby - bilateral renal agenesis | 10 Sep 2004 02:18 GMT | 5 |
I was talking to my friend today, and she is convinced that something has changed with the baby. She said a couple of weeks ago, all she felt were 'pulses' instead of kicks, and now she can feel proper kicks and movement. Also, she used to be able to feel/palpate the baby - head, ...

| February due dates | 09 Sep 2004 22:36 GMT | 10 |
How's everyone feeling this month? Is the morning sickness gone, the tiredness starting to fade? Not too huge yet, but enough belly to run your hands over with that sweet, wistful smile on your face when you don't think anyone's noticing? :) How is sleeping, getting more

| it is so much fun getting to know my baby! | 09 Sep 2004 21:55 GMT | 4 |
He is a very cuddly boy! He *loves* to fall asleep on my lap. The only problem is that he overheats. :-( I have the air conditioning running even though it's actually not that hot out, and it's all for him (no wonder I was so hot all the time during pregnancy - it was all ...

| C-section or normal delivery? Opinions sought from those who have had BOTH types! | 09 Sep 2004 16:51 GMT | 23 |
My wife had a very difficult vaginal birth with our son (15 months ago). It was a textbook labor until she had an epidural & then it just really slowed up....the baby then became very lethargic on the heart monitor. To cut a long story short after about 8 hours she was told

| Brief absence | 09 Sep 2004 16:13 GMT | 2 |
This is Sarah posting from DH's computer, as mine's packed. Along with most of our other stuff, though unfortunately not all of it, which is somewhat of a problem since the moving men are turning up in five hours' time. :-(

| 29 weeks and still breech!!! | 09 Sep 2004 13:56 GMT | 6 |
Ok - so I just got back from my 29 week appointment. Baby girl is still breech. Is this normally a problem at 29 weeks? No not really but when you factor in 3 other ultrasounds, all breech throughout my pregnancy. Now I know you are asking 4 ultrasounds!!! My doctors

| Bad moods | 09 Sep 2004 06:48 GMT | 5 |
whew.I don't think this classifies as PPD, but I have been in a very bad mood for several days. I am bored, sad, unhappy, dissatisfied, not content. I have not been able to "snap out of it". Could this be hormonal? That's what it feels like- bad PMS where everything is wrong and ...
