24 week update09 Sep 2004 06:39 GMT7
 24 week appointment today-the U/S is Thursday.
Everything looks good at this point. BP is running a little
over normal, but is 10 points lower than 2 weeks ago, with
no more headaches. The plan is at this point to continue as
My jeans fit!!!09 Sep 2004 03:05 GMT14
...well I can do up the button and zipper but I don't think I could sit down
in them yet.  I tried them on last week (1 week pp) and they didn't even
look like meeting at the front.
I know - small things amuse small minds - but wearing my normal clothes is

Welcome and congratulations, if you're just found out!  Do you feel
pregnant yet, or is it still new and stunning?  Have you started telling
people?  Started to look around at the hospitals and birth centers near
you, taking prenatals?  Any food cravings, any morning queasiness?

Into the second half of pregnancy!  So it's all swiftly downhill from
here, eh? :)  How's everyone feeling?  Is your body telling you to start
slowing down, taking it a little easier?  How is sleeping going -- lots
of pillows stuck into every nook?  Bellybutton flattening out yet, ...
First sippy cup...?08 Sep 2004 23:54 GMT7
Is there any difference in sippy cups in the actual spout or sipping
part as far as the flow goes -- you know like bottles?  I'm going
(try) to introduce one in the next month or so but I was looking at
them the other day and they all seemed to have the same size holes
Starting solids with oatmeal?08 Sep 2004 23:54 GMT16
I am not yet thinking of giving Rachel any solids, but I did give a quick
look at the store shelf yesterday. (FWIW- my husband says he thinks I will
start her on neither rice OR oatmeal- he thinks I will wait longer and start
right in with the "jars". Nuh-uh!)
Away for a while08 Sep 2004 23:47 GMT4
Just to let you know I will be away until mid-october, visiting family,
giving presentations about my work, and hopefully doing a lot of
networking to find a job.
I'm in the midst of my 2WW, still about 1.5 weeks to go until AF shows up,
I was in an evacuation!08 Sep 2004 21:26 GMT19
ANd what makes me mad is the news has been silent about it. It coud have
been a prank bomb threat call, or a fire alarm pulled. But why are they
being so QUIET about it?
I was in Wal-mart of all places since I hate and rarely go there, with
toxoplasmosis08 Sep 2004 21:21 GMT3
I'm new here and have a question!
I am 11 weeks pregnant and own a cat.
While this doesn't bother me, my husband seems a little
concerned so I'm after some information about toxoplasmosis.
Quick Update & Pictures08 Sep 2004 21:17 GMT8
The boys are doing great, and are both over 8 lbs now.
Wow, they got big so fast!  They are out of preemie clothes finally.  They
are only getting up about two or three times a night now, and we're all
doing well!
January due dates08 Sep 2004 20:03 GMT2
Halfway there!  How's everyone doing?  Making the switch into "wow, I
really look pregnant now" or have you been there for a while?  Kicks and
tumbles?  Dealing with the glucose test, a possible amnio, results from
the triple screen, ultrasounds?  Happy with your birth plans, your ...
flying when preg.08 Sep 2004 19:56 GMT8
This is not for me, but to send to someone who sent me the following
quote from a book:
To quote from my DK Guide to Pregnancy: "Travelling is best during the
second trimester of pregnancy. You've passed the first trimester, which
Can you help me find something?08 Sep 2004 18:28 GMT5
Some of you will already know since I have mentioned this already to a
couple. :) To anyone who is able and has a ToysRUs or two nearby or that
they drive by, would you be willing to look for something for me? I am
making a scrapbook for Rachel- TRU is the only place that carries ...
