Liquid filled teethers27 Sep 2004 11:02 GMT5
I've read that these aren't real safe because the liquid contains a
dangerous chemical.  Is this true?  Should I be using non-liquid filled
teethers?
Birth story27 Sep 2004 06:05 GMT16
I will try to be as brief as possible...
Since I'd hit 42 weeks, my doctor was pushing for an induction. The
poposed schedule was: go to hospital on Wednesday at 8, get medication
at 9, be monitored for 2 hours, go home at 11, and come back once I was
what's the normal age for pushing off with feet?27 Sep 2004 02:54 GMT5
My midwife told me, but I forget, now.  Anyway, tonight, for the first
time, Max pushed his body up with his legs.  I had his belly pressed
against mine and was holding him in a sort of burping position (hard to
describe, but he sometimes likes to be cuddled this way), and he put ...
changing tables??27 Sep 2004 02:54 GMT28
Hi, all -- I'm trying to decide on a changing table, and have been thinking
about the IKEA one (Diktad) that has the changing table on top of a
dresser; the table converts to shelves.  The URL is:

34 week appt and swelling update27 Sep 2004 02:49 GMT5
My OB said not to worry about swelling more on that side, that it's probably
something to do with the way I sit, or that the baby is on that side, or that
the colon is on that side.  It had gone down during sleep as well so I guess
that's okay.
36 weeks.. Please let there be only 4 weeks left;)27 Sep 2004 02:46 GMT14
I kept Joking that I would not mind being a week late this time arround but
I LIED yes I flat out lied!  lol  I would love to go now except that I am
home alone and I want to sleep!  I am tired of the heart burn and the nausea
and the dizzy spells and the diarhea!  i never really ...
so according to my x-rays...27 Sep 2004 02:34 GMT18
I have arthritis.  ;-)  So, on to a rheumatologist.
I don't know the extent of it.  I assume that it's probably all up and
down my spine, and probably in the hips.  I had x-rays before the
pregnancy that showed it in my upper spine and neck, and I've always

Just been away for the weekend, which has been a good distraction to think
whether I am preg or not, now it is 28 days since AF and 15 days since I
think I ovulated, so it's looking possible, I don't really feel like
testing yet, partly I think because a friend had a very early ...

My mom sent me this to me and I thought that I would share this with y'all.
Your Clothes
1st baby:  You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GIN
confirms your pregnancy.
November due dates26 Sep 2004 23:16 GMT6
How are you feeling, seven-monthers?  Enjoying your beautiful belly?
Any braxton hicks?  Aches and pains, or are you carrying on with life as
usual?  Everything lined up for the birth, maternity leave, found a
doula, taken a breastfeeding class, toured the birth center/hospital,
One-sided edema26 Sep 2004 23:11 GMT7
Is there any reason to be worried that one of my feet is very swollen today
while the other is not.  I mean, I'm swollen a bit all over but there is a
noticeable difference between the two feet.
This happened a couple of weeks ago with my hands, but the hand that was
determining due date26 Sep 2004 22:44 GMT53
My OB used a little paper wheel contraption and the first day of my last
period (5/21/04) to determine my due date of 2/25/05.  But that wheel is
based on the "average" 28 day menstrual cycle.  MY personal average cycle
length is 33 days so wouldn't I have ovulated  later and my ...
Contrary to belief of some26 Sep 2004 20:52 GMT8
I am handling my baby just fine. I might have personal problems with certain
family members etc that can be recognized as something I am not coping with
ideally, but I am not miserable as someone has said, I am not a basket case
as someone has said, and I am doing just fine thanks, ...
Gift registries and minimum a baby needs?26 Sep 2004 20:47 GMT9
I've been spending a lot of time on babiesrus.com, and a lot of the
suggested registries are absolutely huge! Does a baby really need all that
stuff?? I already have more preemie-6 month sized clothes than I suspect
this child will ever wear (they were more than the friend I got ...
