Kiddy Guard?10 Oct 2004 09:45 GMT1
I recently purchased a Kiddy Guard (mesh-based child gate that rolls
up like a window shard when not in use), only to find that it is just
a little too short to cover the span it was intended for.
Does anyone know whether there is a longer-span version of the Kiddy

Diaper rash advice needed10 Oct 2004 05:05 GMT29
Nolan has some pretty serious diaper rash. :( I change his diaper often
and apply Desitin before putting on a new diaper, which isn't helping at
all. I have also tried Johnson's 3-in-1 and Vaseline, neither helped. He
never had diaper rash until he was 12 months old (he is almost 15 ...

Small scare today09 Oct 2004 18:00 GMT11
DS#2-to-be was extremely active up through Tues and then Wed night through
this morning was MUCH less active. I did a couple of kick counts after the
OJ, cold water, and lying-on-your-left side thing and it was only 5-7 fairly
non-strong movements. So I called my OB's office and ...
C-section question (and rant)09 Oct 2004 17:04 GMT11
After reading Kevin and Barbara's posts, and due to my current situation
(being told baby is big = c-section) I really, really want to know why
in the world any sane person would suggest all of these interventions,
like early induction or worse, c-section. People trust doctors and

Well, it looks like she's discovered her thumb!
Basically, I couldn't have gotten a better report had I written one
myself-there are no signs of protein, and my BP (after the BPP) was a
completely normal 120/78-lower than it has been the last three days. He's

I'm childfree but my sister and her husband are over at my house while they are
having theirs reroofed, and they're talking about their plans for having kids.
They were talking about home birth. I knew a few people still did it but have
no idea on the numbers or how it varies across ...
