Which hospital is better for delivery  (in Houston, TX)?08 Oct 2004 17:14 GMT2
Hi,
Anybody from Houston, TX? I would appreciate if you could give me some
suggestions: in the following three hospitals, which one is better for
delivery?
Infant sleep08 Oct 2004 16:51 GMT4
There's something I really don't understand.  Quinn, now 5mos old, over
the past couple weeks has started sleeping well... at what I would think
to be a normal pattern.  He sleeps more now than he ever did as a
newborn and has started taking decent sized naps (more than 20-30
OG/GYN and the delivery hospital, which is more important?08 Oct 2004 16:00 GMT10
hi there;
I wonder which one is more important: the ob/gyn, or the condition of
the hospital you will delivery. I am trying to choose an OB/GYN, here
I have two options:
swelling of feet and hands08 Oct 2004 13:31 GMT10
Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice.  I'm now 5 1/2 months
pregnant, and for the past couple of weeks have been having swelling in my
ankles, feet and hands.  At first it would come and go, but now it seems to

DS has thrush08 Oct 2004 05:03 GMT6
Ok, so Quinn almost 5mos old has thrush.  I think he's had it for a
little while and was asymptomatic so I didn't worry about it.  It spread
to the other side of his mouth and he's began arching back and grimacing
during feedings so I figured it was time to go see the doc this ...
I hate my phone08 Oct 2004 02:56 GMT13
OK, I think I'm going to throw it out.  Max was sleeping so WELL and
someone just HAD to call, and now he's fussing from it (poor kid - I
hope he gets back to sleep).  I can't turn the volume down any lower on
this stupid phone.  It's a super cheap phone that kills your ears even ...
Cats and babies08 Oct 2004 02:53 GMT8
Hi!  I posted here while i was pregnant, but now mostly lurk.  There have
been several discussions of pets and babies, and I just wanted to share a
good pet story!   I am so excited that our cats are so good with the baby
that we now leave our bedroom door open at night and the ...
Hand foot and mouth07 Oct 2004 23:34 GMT2
Can someone enlighten me as to what Fiifths(?) and hand, mouth and foot
disease is. I'd never heard of these until I started lurking on this site
and with a 3 yr old and one on the way, I'm intrigued.
Thanks
36 weeks and ultrasound07 Oct 2004 22:54 GMT2
I had a very good 36 week appointment!
My BP was 132/70, lower than it's been in weeks.  No protein, and I only gained
1 lb. (that never happened before).  Still don't know, and don't wish to know,
my total weight gain.
38 weeks..07 Oct 2004 22:50 GMT1
only 10 days til i reach my EDD.  Jeff mentioned today that Bonnie was still
"cheesy" when she was born so now my midwife said if she had known that I
would have been watched for preterm labor and maybe she was not as early as
we all thought.. But she said it does not matter now ...
3 home pregnancy tests - test line is always darker than control line07 Oct 2004 22:08 GMT4
Can someone help us?  I've just done 3 home pregnancy tests - 2 of "Reveal"
brand and one of "First response".  The 2 Reveal tests resulted in two faint
but visible lines, almost identical, but the control line was lighter.
I then done First Response and the same result - test ...
14 week visit07 Oct 2004 21:12 GMT2
I tried to post this yesterday but never did see it so please excuse
me if you do see it and I am repeating myself.
Yesterday, I have my 14 week pre-natal check-up and got to hear the
baby's heartbeat for the first time.  I always love that part and was
Uneasy feeling about OB07 Oct 2004 20:41 GMT11
When I go to see my OB I have discussed certain things with him, some of
which are important and some are just mentions of personal things about
me and my family. Several times when I have brought these things up
later he acts like he has absolutely no memory of me ever mentioning ...
