Leg Cramps05 Oct 2004 01:01 GMT12
Is it extra magnesium and Vitamin B that I need to take to prevent leg cramps
at night?  A couple of nights ago I had a Charley Horse so bad that it woke me
up yelling!  I physically could not flew my foot to make it stop--John had to
do it for me.  I am still limping.

So much for all the drama!05 Oct 2004 00:57 GMT21
My period just showed up, so I guess I'm not pg.  So much for intuition,
eh?!  Anyway, I don't know if we will try to conceive any time soon, though,
I would love to.  I think my hubby still has to come around to the idea of
#4.  If this had turned out to be a pregnancy, he was fine ...
Stretch marks/scarring05 Oct 2004 00:11 GMT2
I am now 37 weeks and one of my stretch marks has started to fill in with
scar tissue.  The stretch mark was really big and unsightly, but expected.
But scar tissue??  The scar tissue is now about 1/2 inch wide and 1+1/5
inches long, and that is a fair bit bigger than yesterday.   ...

We are looking at reusable nappies and have tried three different trial
packs out on our teddy bear (baby due in November!)
We are thinking of Bambino Mio. Can anyone who has used these give any
feedback??
how often do ultrasounds occur?04 Oct 2004 22:11 GMT56
Barring any other problems requiring the use of ultrasound to diagnose, how
many ultrasounds are usually given in a "normal" pregnancy?  I have no clue
why I was thinking this, but in my head I thought they would be ordered say
once per month after a certain point in pregnancy - ...

RSV04 Oct 2004 18:05 GMT9
I just found out today that my doctor has ordered monthly injections (7 mos)
for my DD.  She was born at 33 weeks which is why she needs these
injections.  I've just done some reading up on RSV.  It said that fall thru
spring is the "RSV time" and that to prevent your infant from ...
Upset- Hep B vaccine and daycare issue04 Oct 2004 17:25 GMT9
My daycare provider told me yesterday that she is being audited in November,
and the new rules say that a child MUST have two Hepatitis B vaccine doses by
the time they turn 18 months old.  This is in New Hampshire- don't know if it's
a state rule or national.

First appointment with new midwife04 Oct 2004 05:45 GMT12
I've had to join a new general practice now that we've moved.  The one
in our area is actually one I've worked at a couple of years back, when
I needed to do some videos of my consultations for an exam I was doing
and this practice was the only one in the area with a video camera ...

Suddenly an unexpected, a large monster with 126 hitpoints, AC -10 and
3D12 damage appears and wants to steal your baby.
What do you do?
Poll: paternity leave04 Oct 2004 03:13 GMT42
What kinds of paternity leave do your partners get?  We just found out that
DH gets *one day* -- I was pretty appalled, but maybe that's standard?
A woman in my prenatal yoga class said Google gives 2 weeks, AND they
provide all meals for those 2 weeks!  We were all exclaiming how ...
Timing of antenatal classes?04 Oct 2004 02:52 GMT7
Our antenatal classes start next week, when I'll be 34 weeks.  This
sounded a bit late to me, as when I read about women going to antenatal
classes they all seem to start at an earlier stage.  I thought maybe it
was just because we'd just moved into the area, and maybe I'd missed ...
