Girl (we think). At least, the OB is reasonably sure it's a girl so we're
moving forward with that plan. We're both really excited as are both our
families (Grandpa has already gotten over his very, very mild disappointment
at not having any grandsons).

Last week I had my Second child in a scheduled c-section. the anastisia was
local with a spinal shot.. I was released home after 4 days and now my back
hurts, is this normal after having a spinal shot? I was given some pain
medication but I do not want to get hooked on those.

I am planning on breastfeeding DD when she is born in Nov. and I need
some help figuring out how to do it! I bf DS for about two months and I
really wish I could have kept it up a little longer. I weaned him
because at the time it was really what I felt was best for me and him.

I went to my new OB for my 13 week appt today.  nice man.  I asked him about
cord clamping.  He said it was an interesting question.
he said if everything is ok, he is happy enough to clamp after the cord has
stopped pulsing.  but he made these points:

My wife is 6 months pregnant with our first, the baby wakes up every night
at 9:30 just when she's trying to go to bed making it very difficult for her
to get a decent nights sleep.  Two questions, any ideas on how to alter his
sleep schedule, and does the schedule he keeps now ...
