38 week checkup26 Oct 2004 23:41 GMT6
More of the same. :-)
BP 140/76 (about the same as it has been).  Just a trace of protein, but not
enough to cause concern.  No significant swelling.
One change (and I know it may mean nothing) is that I am 2cm dilated.

Is anyone else having this problem?  My newsreader claims I have 40 unread
messages--I can see only 10 of them!  And I am seeing lots of replies without
original messages as well.

hot water temp in pregnancy26 Oct 2004 22:12 GMT14
what is the maximum recommended temperature that you should swim in (or
wallow in LOL!) during pregnancy?
our local pool has a hydrotherapy pool (yummy!) with the water temp of 34
degrees celsius (93 F). is that suitable?
Straw Poll - How long for 1st pregnancy?26 Oct 2004 17:22 GMT24
We are now at 38 weeks and maternity leave has started.  Everyone says
"First Baby is usually later than 40 weeks" but then there are so many
examples of early births too.
So, it is possible to know/assess/guess when 1st baby is likely to arrive??

Congratulations to any early birds who know they're pregnant already! Is
it a shock, or a much-awaited blessing?  How many pregnancy tests did
you have to take before you believed it? :)  Any symptoms yet?
New here - an introduction26 Oct 2004 15:35 GMT38

understand. TTC is trying to concieve?
Is cramping normal?26 Oct 2004 14:58 GMT7
I'm in my first trimester with my second baby (about 6 or so weeks), and
ever since I missed my period I have been crampy like I will get my period
any day now.  I've taken 3 hpt's (all positive) but I can't help but worry
that this isn't normal.  I still don't feel pg, though I am ...

How are you feeling this month, three-monthers?  You're almost out of
the first trimester
(depending on how you count) -- still feeling sick and tired, or are you
Mucus plug26 Oct 2004 10:17 GMT4
Heu... I am not certain, but I think I've lost my mucus plug this morning.
Can someone tell me what that is supposed to look like, so I can make an
educated guess? I have books which say it should be coloured, others
transparent or clear... none seem to agree!
Help! How pregnant am I?26 Oct 2004 10:12 GMT5
Hi all. I haven't posted here in a long time. My DD is 17 months old.
I know I'm pregnant (yay!) but I'm having the devil of a time figuring
out how far along I am. I don't know why, but I coincidentally missed
my last two periods before conceiving which makes it tricky. I know I

Halfway there!  How's everyone doing?  Making the switch into "wow, I
really look pregnant now" or have you been there for a while?  Kicks and
tumbles?  Dealing with the glucose test, a possible amnio, results from
Somewhat personal question (relates to S E X)26 Oct 2004 06:20 GMT15
Has anyone else noticed that her sex drive is on overtime even through week
34? I had NO drive for the first trimester (probably due to sore boobs,
fatigue, and some nausea) but since late second trimester, I've
been....ummm....almost insatiable. DH says he's thinking we should ...
Question of the day26 Oct 2004 05:13 GMT8
What on Earth possessed me to buy a Jenny Lind-style crib and then start
to *paint* it? All those spools and spindles!
Oh yeah, it was a *bargain* (eyeroll)
OK, back to work painting:
