February due dates (posted Nov '04)16 Nov 2004 01:33 GMT19
(With many thanks to Mary S., original author!)
Into the second half of pregnancy!  So it's all swiftly downhill from
here, eh? :)  How's everyone feeling?  Is your body telling you to start
slowing down, taking it a little easier?  How is sleeping going -- lots
10 day old infant - treating congestion16 Nov 2004 00:13 GMT4
Hey all,
Matthew seems all congested.  You can hear him breathing and he doesn't seem
to want to feed as much.  There's nothing visibly blocking his nostrils but
he just sounds really congested.

OMG!! Sleep!!15 Nov 2004 21:04 GMT4
Ok, after Matthew the non-sleeper I guess I earned my stripes and now my
time is due. Jessica has slept for stretches of *6.5* hours at a time *in
the bassinet* for the past two nights. She's never had a night time stretch
less than 3 hours! I'm knocking on wood as I type this and ...
Congestion and spitting up15 Nov 2004 20:44 GMT3
Just trying to figure out if Jessica is going to be a power puker or if it's
related to her cold. Yes, it's a cold and not just newborn congestion. Her
nose is actually dripping and it's going around the house.
Since she started with the cold Friday, she has spit up *volumes* of her
preparing a young child15 Nov 2004 17:58 GMT7
I am posting for the first time so I hope this is right. anyway my son
will be one year old to the day when my daughter will be born. This
was totally unexpected and I am not sure how to prepare him if I can
at all. He is currently nine months old. Does anyone have any good
Accepting Pregnancy15 Nov 2004 16:25 GMT35
This may sound odd, and probably no-one will know what I am talking about, but why do I feel like it's not real ?
With my DS I felt like I'd won the lottery and was over the moon and smiling the full 9 months, with DD it was slightly different but I felt content and happy.
With ...

interesting 24 hours15 Nov 2004 07:12 GMT11
as I've been letting you all know/complaining about I've been suffering
quite a bit of cramping, well yesterday afternoon it got a lot worse, not
quite sure how to describe it, but rather than being annoying it was all
consuming, ds was really good, I put CBeebies on an curled up ...
33 week BPP15 Nov 2004 06:49 GMT3
Almost 34, based on the U/S due date (which everyone BUT the perinatal
center is using).
Everything looks good. The blood pressure is slowly climbing, but there's no
signs that its affecting the baby or the placenta, so we should be able to
Need OB/GYN recommendation in Syracuse, NY area15 Nov 2004 03:32 GMT2
I'm new to the area and need an OB/GYN recommendation.
One Mom told me that she was really pleased with Advocates
for Women's Health, but they don't take my insurance (United
Healthcare.)
Midwives notation15 Nov 2004 00:10 GMT7
My appointment yesterday was with my 2nd midwife, who I met for the first
time.  She was surprised at how low the baby is (her comment was that one
good sneeze will let it out!). I hastened to reassure her that DD was
carried low too, and didn't arrive early.   I'm intrigued by what ...
July due dates, TTC-ers, and new members14 Nov 2004 20:15 GMT9
(With many thanks to Mary S., original author!)
Congratulations to any early birds who know they're pregnant already! Is
it a shock, or a much-awaited blessing?  How many pregnancy tests did
you have to take before you believed it? :)  Any symptoms yet?
Additional Maternity Pay14 Nov 2004 19:58 GMT4
My wife and I are expecting our first child next June and I have just
been doing some home work into maternity pay etc. I think I understand
the various rules about SMP, but wasnt sure if there were any rules
about additional maternity pay.
