hands-free baby carrier for klutzes?09 Nov 2004 20:42 GMT2
I have a 2.5-month-old son (and a 2.5-year-old son.) With both sons I
have been just an occasional user of the Sling-Ezee sling -- I'm not
that knowledgeable on slings but think this is just a typical "ring
sling" with padding around the edge. I am doing a little better with
Middle name suggestions?09 Nov 2004 19:50 GMT42
I think we're leaning towards Allison as a first name, so I'm looking for a
middle name to go between Allison and Metler-I'm thinking one syllable,
fairly simple.

irratic/high heartrate09 Nov 2004 15:10 GMT2
I went for my assessment at the gym today, the first since I got pregnant,
it all went well as I'd made an improvement in all areas which was nice. The
only problem was that when I put the heart rate monitor on it was reading
around 120 when I was resting. Then I started the step ...
Not gettinge excited anymore09 Nov 2004 14:59 GMT13
OK.  So I have all these symptoms, but nothing is ever happening *for real*.
I mean, I have contractions - some excruciatingly painful and long lasting
now - but they never get regular.  Last night I had them every 5 minutes for
a good half hour, and I went to bed and everything ...
abdominal straining question09 Nov 2004 14:55 GMT4
On Saturday, I had a strange feeling in what felt like my upper
abdominal muscles -- at the very top of my belly.  It felt like I was
trying to do a sit up but could not.  I felt like the muscles would
strain for a few seconds and then rest.   It did not feel like a
communicating with partner about having children09 Nov 2004 12:37 GMT26
I just wanted to know from other ladies who have had kids - how did
you discuss when and whether to have children with your partner? Was
it you who came up with the idea first and then led the way into ttc
so to speak - or did your dh come up with the idea first? Was your dh
Back from the weekend09 Nov 2004 06:31 GMT3
Spent this weekend at a science fiction convention--dh got us a room very
close to the activities, and we borrowed a car with automatic transmission,
power everything and cruise, so it wasn't too bad to drive up there or
getting around. Good news: No noticeable cramping--I nabbed ...

So I saw my OB today.  As I expected, he began induction talk and currently I
am scheduled to be induced next Wednesday.  I cannot for a moment believe that
I won't have the baby before then, but if it comes to that we will just have to
see whether I decide to go along with it or ...
