Back again, and worried08 Nov 2004 03:05 GMT24
Hi all...
Some of you I remember from my last visit here, about a year and a
half ago. (Congratulations, JennP, what a story!)  Well, I'm back!  I
just got a positive pg test yesterday.  This is number three for me,
BTDT parents: best baby book? 08 Nov 2004 02:29 GMT45
Open for opinions: The best baby-care book for new parents. Assuming, of
course, that you feel that new parents even need a baby-care book, but
I'm a book person and my husband is a librarian, so we're probably going
to end up with something, in any case.
High chair opinions, and update08 Nov 2004 02:08 GMT25
Rachel is now 6 months old. We have the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster
but have just bought (but not opened yet!) the Fisher Price Healthy Care
High chair because we wanted something that adjusts more, reclines, and plus
we need our extra kitchen chair for adults when we have ...
TLC show on family with 14 kids08 Nov 2004 01:46 GMT24
Did anyone see this show about the family with 14 kids and one on the way?
Of course, I immediately thought of Andrea :)  in a very good way, no doubt.
Anyway, this family had a whole pantry *loaded* with food and had to wonder
if larger families truly stock this way.  Andrea?  It ...
12 weeks update08 Nov 2004 01:02 GMT7
although there's not much to update...still feels like a milestone.
I'm 12 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow...I saw the baby and heartbeat at
7 weeks (I was becoming alarmed about the possibility of twins because
I was showing so quickly!) and heard it by doppler at 7 weeks 6 days.
32 week BPP, trip to L&D07 Nov 2004 23:46 GMT2
Well, the second was actually first-we ended up going into L&D last night
because I was having abdominal pains-and since epigastric pain is often the
first sign of HELLP, that's not something I can ignore. It turns out that
this was pretty typical false labor-just that I didn't feel ...
Minor Rant..07 Nov 2004 23:20 GMT23
I know I am beating myself up over this one but why wont this kid get
latched on already.  He is eating like a little piggy so I dont dare to take
away the bottles I am not finding anything usefull for increasing my supply
with just the pump and I swear if i ever see the SNS ...
Snoring...help!07 Nov 2004 23:10 GMT16
My husband is about to go crazy, even though he knows it's perfectly
normal for 35.5-week-pregnant women to snore. However, I'm already using
two pillows, breathe-right strips, and saline nasal spray, and I'm
sleeping on my side...anyone have any ideas as to what else I can try? ...
can't sleep...07 Nov 2004 20:25 GMT2
It's past 3 AM and I haven't slept yet...  I did
take a little nap around 6 PM, maybe that's why...
Whenever I lay down fully, I get overwhelmingly
nauseous.  If I'm surfing or watching TV, at least
reputable homebirth info/stats needed07 Nov 2004 16:03 GMT203
I would love to have a homebirth but my husband is not at all keen. I am
wondering if anyone out there knows of a reputable website or a good book
that my husband could read to put his mind at ease. I am going to ask my
midwife this week as well but thought I would try here too.
Hypothetically speaking and stuff07 Nov 2004 15:11 GMT196
Can I have some feedback on these names, any make your stomach turn, any
you adore that sort of thing....connotations to them, no need to feed
back on every name just the ones you have strong thoughts on. Trying to
come up with some sort of short list for contemplation, not ...
Frustrated with OB07 Nov 2004 14:16 GMT6
It's been 2 weeks or so since I've posted b/c I've been so busy with doctor
appts and trying to focus on controlling my diabetes (not gestational, but
totally out of whack due to pg).  While I'm grateful to finally be back on
track and on routine, it took forever to get to this ...
Breast pumps - the Ameda carrying bag07 Nov 2004 12:57 GMT3
'Scuse me starting a new thread for this, but Demon's playing up & I
can't download Sidheag's comment from the 'Breast Pumps' thread - having
seen it on Google, I wanted to thank her quickly for that.  If I can
have at least one hand free while using the Ameda Lactaline (Purely

I am 13 weeks pg with my 3rd child.  I had a very hard time conceiving
my first 2 dds, but I lucked this time and got pg by accident.  I look
forward to the next 6 months or so here.
