Hi, everybody!  What a small world we live in that Karen was able to find out
about me ana update you all!  I'm so glad--I felt bad leaving y'all hanging for
so long.
As you know, Lorelei Elizabeth arrived at 4:37 pm on Wednesday 10 November.

Just thought some of you might want to know Nikki gave birth to a baby boy
at 18:05 Thursday 18/11/04.
Baby and mother are fine (mother a tad sore) but baby was a healthy 10lb and
it was a natural home birth with just a little gas&air.

We toured our hospital Friday evening.    I'm so pleased and a little
less nervous.   We saw the admitting area, labor and delivery rooms,
recovery rooms, nursery (baby rooms in with mom unless you choose to
send him to the nursery).  The labor and delivery rooms are big and

I've been reading Chicken Soup for the Expectant Mother's Soul and
have been really enjoying it.  I'm not usuallly one for reading sappy
stuff like this but I have read almost every story, maybe it the
pregnancy hormones or something.  Anybody else read this?

I've been in quite a lot of pain today. I'm fairly sure it's not ligament
pain as from what I remember that was twingy and tended to be made worse by
certain movements, whereas this pain is more crampy and central rather than
around the uterus. I did have a similar pain at a ...

I have an itchy pimply kind of rash all over my back around the site of the
Epidural That Failed.  Anyone know what that's all about?

Hey all,
I've been meaning to let you guys know about the events for a while now but
have been really swamped with baby & recovering wife stuff.

i had a c section a little over 2 weeks ago. i was wondering how long
you have to go before having sex again. our doctor told me 2 months and
i dont think i can wait that long. how long did you go before having sex
again?

Every few minutes for the past hour and a half, lasting around 30
seconds. I think they're getting stronger, as well - when they first
started I was packing my bag and could still keep doing stuff during the
contractions, now I have to stop typing when they come on.

Nothing for over 24hrs I think... or maybe she's just enjoying those
activities she has planned???
