Listeria question.20 Nov 2004 05:53 GMT42
I have been pretty strict with my eating regarding Listeria.
My wedding is coming up in just under 4 weeks now, and my brother in law
is set to make one of his fabulous cheesecakes for me!  He's making two,
actually... one baked, one not.  I know I can eat the baked one (esp if
Toy (infant) brand question??20 Nov 2004 00:47 GMT6
Is anyone here, particularly in the U.S. since this brand may only be in the
US, not sure.....have any experience with the brand "Fun Time" toys? There
are a lot of this brand at Big Lots stores, and I am not familiar with how
durable or safe or well-made they are, as compared to ...

a divorced father is visiting his 5-year-old son 19 Nov 2004 19:37 GMT10
Basically, a divorced father is visiting his 5-year-old son and takes a lot
of photos. One of the photos is of the child "mooning" his dad. The father
sends the picture to his ex-wife with an inquiry regarding where the child
learned such behavior. Criminal charges follow. What do ...

Well for those of you who are paying attention and especially those who
responded to last week's visit - little beeber turned!!! The
exercises/visualization worked (or else I just got lucky which I'll take). I
just gotta keep fingers crossed that he'll stay the proper way. All ...

funniest/rudest/most outrageous comments while pg19 Nov 2004 16:52 GMT27
After reading a thread called "Rude questions" I thought it might be funny
to list the funniest/rudest/most outrageous comments or advice we have
gotten while pg.  Since it seems like everyone from family to the checkout
woman at the store has something to say :)
Ovarian cysts?19 Nov 2004 16:34 GMT4
I had a LV2 ultrasound last week, our baby looks fine, but at one point it
was noted that I had a very tiny cyst on one of my ovaries.  The peri did
not appear concerned, but then again it's not really her area and we had
very real concerns about the baby which we were looking at.
Exaustion & not so understanding partner....19 Nov 2004 16:19 GMT19
I'm going to start by saying that in general my fiancé is a wonderful, kind,
man.
But this weekend we got into it big time.  I'm about 18 wks pg now, and just
so darn tired it's scary :)  Saturday I spent most of the day sleeping on
Tri Cities AP Miracle VBAC Birth Story19 Nov 2004 16:08 GMT3
A woman in the TriCities AP playgroup that Monika belongs to just had what
can only be called a miracle VBAC.  She posted the story to the AP playgroup
mailing list, and I asked permission to post it here.  I think it speaks
for itself.
I *live in the bathroom!* and other stuff :)19 Nov 2004 14:44 GMT4
I'm just posting away today! :
I've noticed, even this early in, that the ladies room at work is my new
best friend :)  That I adore water, and that 9:00 has suddenly become late
for me to be awake.
Am I pregnant?  But I JUST had my period!19 Nov 2004 06:34 GMT2
I just had my period and we had intercourse without protection during
my period (I know, ick).  My period has been over for about 6 or 7
days and just yesterday I started having light spotting.  You could
see the blood in my discharge, but it was very faint.  Then that
is this it??19 Nov 2004 06:08 GMT12
I've been getting pretty regular crampy contractions since about 4AM (it's
9 now) -- they feel like menstrual cramps, in my abdomen starting off slow
and then building up and then going away.  They *definitely* feel
different than the Braxton-Hicks (ie they hurt! and are much lower) ...
FAO ModernMiko19 Nov 2004 03:45 GMT1
Hey Jenn, how are you doing?  I haven't talked to you in so long, and I
haven't seen you at LIU (not that I really get there that much!)  Your due
date is so close.  How are you feeling?  Nervous?
Further to the listeria question19 Nov 2004 01:18 GMT10
It seems that many people avoid non-pastuerised cheese, that is the rule.
In australia, we are not even allowed to import un-p'd cheese.  Are we
allowed to produce it?  Could i buy it if i wanted to?  Should i just not
even worry about the whole cheese rule?
