Birth story to follow later. Short version- Matthew Johnathan was born on
Fri 12/03 at 1:40pm weighing 9lbs 11oz and 21.5" long. Labor was a total of
4 hours. Vag birth with no episiotomy but my old one tore when one of his
arms came out so I ended up with a second degree tear. ...
23-week midwife appointment12 Dec 2004 14:16 GMT17
I went to the midwife today for my 23-week appointment. (I know that's
a weird number, but they start visits at 8 weeks and then want you to
come in every 5 weeks.)
Everything looks just great. The baby's heartbeat is strong and
Castor Oil12 Dec 2004 07:07 GMT29
Hi,
I was just curious if there was anyone in here that has taken castor oil
to start labor. I did with all 3 of my kids and it worked. Although,
with my 3rd one, I had to take it twice but it did work. :-) My sister
Apprehension and excitement12 Dec 2004 06:21 GMT14
I'm 14 dpo today. At 10dpo my temperature started showing a triphasic
curve. They went from (celsius) 36.77 to 36.85 for 2 days, and then were
around 36.95 for 2 days. Yesterday and today they were slightly lower
(36.84 and 36.82). Circumstances were more or less the same, same time ...
Superstitious12 Dec 2004 05:21 GMT29
I bought my first baby things this weekend. We went on vacation to a
place that had a Carter's outlet, and I bought seven adorable little
outfits for roughly half retail price. Then I spent the rest of the
day worrying about not feeling the Li'l Critter move (which, at just

I would like to get information about epiduarls from women who have
had births both with and without an epidural. I am interested to know
your pros and cons and how you felt. Thanks
New pregnancy - "help"!11 Dec 2004 23:19 GMT3
I'm a brand new pregnant mother-to-be and am feeling a little out of my
depth.  I'm 33 years of age, have only been with my husband for 2
months (We married in May in the UK, I then moved over to be with him
in September).  Two days ago after a strange craving for tacos on
Ok what do you think11 Dec 2004 16:33 GMT4
My best friends sister is pregnant.. She was due today.  Well she got out of
a abusive relationship and had to change Drs.  She is actualy seeing a

Pregnancy MAYBE??11 Dec 2004 14:53 GMT4
I am looking for an answer to a question?  My period was five days late
and when it finally came for the first two days it was so light that i
barely noticed it was there and then it got a little heavier to the
point where i could wear one pad all day and night if i chose to.  then
Quiet11 Dec 2004 14:24 GMT3
This group is very quiet. Given that we love to talk about pregnancy I
thought it would be a bit louder here.
If I introduce myself perhaps a few other of you will do the same ?

Hello, I am currently 26 weeks pregnant.
I have a 13 year old daughter who was born a few weeks early and only after
a 2 hour delivery.  I was 16 at the time of her birth.  I know that we don't
TTC #611 Dec 2004 06:34 GMT23
On Thanksgiving AF returned. A lot sooner than I had expected, but at
least that means we're back onto TTC number 6. Feels weird to write it
that way, having been preggers 5 times already and have only DS to show
for it... But BOY am I glad he's around!!
Almost human11 Dec 2004 04:12 GMT1
I haven't coughed since I started the codeine last night. My rib feels
markedly better--only "gets" me when I'm moving much, and then, it's
tolerable. Baby's still kicking away--persistant little thing. Sort of
annoyed that the doc didn't give me codeine a week ago, but at least ...
