| 16 week update | 09 Dec 2004 23:03 GMT | 8 |
real quick update on me... I'm 16.5 weeks now...and doing great. Baby squirms and tickles have become baby kicks and thumps. I've only felt it on the outside a couple of times so far, however.

| Opinions needed - to travel or not to travel. | 09 Dec 2004 23:01 GMT | 9 |
I would like to attend my SIL's funeral, which will be held 1 1/2 hours flight away (I refuse to drive). I will be 38 weeks, and the baby is well and truly engaged - and has been for some time. I am having stronger BH's than a week ago, but that is to be expected. But I feel ...

| Not sure when I got pregnant | 09 Dec 2004 22:29 GMT | 1 |
I found out in November that I was pregnant after getting it checked from my doctor. But the only problem is that I am not sure when my last period was. It's surprising for me as well but don't even have a slight idea. Is there anyone who can help in assessing how far I am into my ...

| Does this sound reasonable? | 09 Dec 2004 19:58 GMT | 17 |
My OB really thinks it's important for me to do the one hour GTT so here's what I'm thinking of doing: 1. Take the one hour test. If I fail, I'm going to refuse the three hour (logistically I just can't face it and I can't easily find child care for E

| wife is "seeing stars" | 09 Dec 2004 11:49 GMT | 6 |
Her blood pressure is fine, protien levels in urine tests are fine, she gets these even just sitting around, she doesn't have to get up or sit to have them occur. It started around the same time her ankles/calves started swelling. OBGYN

This baby stuff is overwhelming! I have a new found respect for mine and all others parents... :-) I think we'll be reconsidering our "4 kids" plan ;-) We were looking at buying a breastpump, have a few brochures that we got at

| [FREE] bassinette in Metro Melbourne, Aus area | 09 Dec 2004 03:12 GMT | 2 |
Hello there... I have a bassinet (suitable for a baby for 0-4 months) that I am giving away for free because I don't have a need for it anymore. I think I may have some linen to go with it. I know that I do have the

| ultrasound questions | 09 Dec 2004 03:06 GMT | 5 |
I was hoping you all could offer me some advice on the usefulness of repeated ultrasounds. I had an ultrasound around 20 weeks which revealed that one of the ventricles in my baby's brain is larger than the other. The OB sent me to a specialty clinic that has more sensitive ...

| How wet is a "wet" diaper | 09 Dec 2004 02:26 GMT | 7 |
We're tracking diaper counts right now, and I've noticed that compared to the first few days, while Allison is wet about every time I feed her, the diapers really aren't all that wet. So, do those count as "Wet" diapers, even though they aren't the soaking ones she had earlier, or ...

| where is my stomach? | 09 Dec 2004 02:15 GMT | 1 |
my stomach seems to have vanished, I can hardly eat half a meal, let alone a full one, I'm only 14 weeks so it's not as if the baby can be squishing it, I'm not eating double the number of meals though and despite no nausea and vomiting I've lost weight, not much, I'm now 59kg ...

| Hi! Back again... | 09 Dec 2004 01:24 GMT | 1 |
I'm not actually TTC quite yet, and I'm not pregnant. But my surro-daughter is now about 7 mos old (and up to 20.5 lbs, she's growing beautifully!), my DS is nearly three, and I've decided to embark on my 2nd surrogacy journey. It's kind of funny -- about six

| Hello Again! | 09 Dec 2004 01:00 GMT | 16 |
Nice to see a few familiar faces. I hung around here during my first pregnancy, and it's great to be back! I'm about 15 weeks along at the moment. Having my first baby became extra exciting a few minutes after DS's birth, when I had a seizure -- eclampsia -- with the only ...
