Gift for bereaved parents - any ideas?09 Dec 2004 00:50 GMT20
A group of friends would like to get something a bit more lasting than a
bunch of flowers for our friend who had a still born baby.  Can anyone offer
any suggestions as to something that might be suitable?  I have no ideas
apart from a photo album or frame.
Jumping back in!08 Dec 2004 20:08 GMT29
I just found out I'm expecting someone new August 14th.  I'm leaving on
Thursday to take a family trip to Disneyland, a little bummed to miss some
of the bigger rides, but heck, someone new is totally worth it!
Anyways, it's nice to be back!
December Where's Everyone At (TTC/Adopt Version)08 Dec 2004 18:41 GMT3
What part of your cycle are you in? Or what stage in planning for the
adoption are you in?
What are you feeling about this cycle/month?
What would you change with your magic wand about ttc or adopting?
Friend chooses vaginal birth for breech baby!08 Dec 2004 18:28 GMT25
Wow, I couldn't believe it when she told me.  She is 35 weeks, and the baby
has problems so there is no fluid, making it unlikely that the baby will
turn.  She was offered a c-section, and she turned it down, saying she
wanted to do best for the baby and for her. And this is in a ...
Birth Story - Part 1 (very long : the story, and the birth!)08 Dec 2004 17:20 GMT55
On a full moon, november 27, at 4:14 AM, our daughter Catherine was born.
At birth she weighed 10 pounds 7 ounces, and was 21,5 inches tall.
This birth story is still very painful to remember (emotionnaly, and
frankly, physically), so forgive me if I sometimes seem not to be making
reporter request08 Dec 2004 07:38 GMT2
I am a reporter researching a story for a national newspaper on the
reasons the medical industry can't reduce wait times in doctor's
offices, hospitals etc. Does anyone have an interesting story they
would like to share with me? If so, my email is
Breastfed children don't snore07 Dec 2004 22:40 GMT41
Remember the posting I made about breastfed children having
straighter teeth that you all hijacked for all sorts of off-topic
conversations.
Well, here is your chance again.

Rather dismaying story07 Dec 2004 18:17 GMT29
At Em's six month checkup today I asked after one of the nurses, who
I knew had been due to deliver in late October.  Here's the story I
got, as verbatim as I can remember it:
"Well, the baby was measuring over 10 pounds, so she was scheduled for
Max got his first tooth!07 Dec 2004 17:40 GMT15
He didn't even cry about it, until I pushed on it by accident when
trying, for like the 5th time, to show DH, who refused to believe me
until he saw it with his own eyes.  ;-)  I *knew* he was teething, but
my family kept telling me that he was too young.  The kid's been
Clomid & CM question07 Dec 2004 17:24 GMT7
I've taken my last dose today, no side effects at all, which was what I
was most afraid of. I did notice the last few days that I have
significantly more CM than I'm used to. Is this normal for Clomid? I'd
expect so if it boosts ovulation. Anyone experience with this? TIA!

One week today!07 Dec 2004 16:32 GMT11
Cuddles is one week old today. Now that we have the feeding
worked out, she's putting weight back on (she's back up to
6 lbs), and mommy is starting to manage to get at least
some naps in there, at least while grandma is here to help.
Viacord Coupon07 Dec 2004 12:24 GMT5
When I was deciding to bank or not I was unsure, especially because of
the cost.  I want to say that despite the expense I think I made the
best choice possible.  Every couple of days in the news I read about
the advancements of cord banking.
Bubble bath safety06 Dec 2004 23:11 GMT25
I was going to pick up a bottle of bubble bath for my 7 MO, but the bottle,
along w/ all the other bottles, says that prolonged exposure could cause
urinary tract infections.  How long do you suppose "prolonged" is?
