| Breastfeeding - too fast for me! | 24 Dec 2004 08:05 GMT | 34 |
I have a strange problem with baby Catherine: she breastfeeds too fast! I put her on one breast, she latches on like a real pro, and then... she suckles so fast that after 15-20 minutes my breast feels "empty" and baby Catherine... drops dead! There is no way I can wake her ...

| Pregnancy signs? | 24 Dec 2004 07:15 GMT | 12 |
I am trying to get pregnant, can someone tell me if these could be signs? My period is usually 28-30 days, and I always get those PMS like 2 weeks before my new period, including very very sore breast. But this month, I didn't get those pms, and today, that is my 27 day, i

| Really OT: split nails | 24 Dec 2004 04:21 GMT | 9 |
Can't remotely think of where else to ask this ... I've always had really strong nails and suddenly they are weak and splitting. Both thumbnails have splits in them and they catch on everything and are driving me insane ( not to mention stinging a bit). I never do much

| Dilemma | 23 Dec 2004 15:49 GMT | 8 |
OK guys, I had 8 hours of interviews with a company before I got pregnant and then they jerked me around and didn't offer me a job. (I am not working right now). They contacted me today and want me to go for an

| Robeez - how close to barefoot? | 23 Dec 2004 11:35 GMT | 8 |
Ok, now that I've got the Robeez, I know why everyone loves them so much. My only question is, is it bad for her to keep them on almost constantly? I ask because not only do they stay on her feet, they also keep her *socks* on her feet. ;-) It's cold here, and unless she's in

| breastfeeding questions | 23 Dec 2004 10:57 GMT | 11 |
Hi, everyone -- I'm posting this here since the breastfeeding board doesn't seem to be very active... I've got 2 more questions about breastfeeding. Yesterday morning I woke up and my right breast was really really swollen, hard and painful. At first I thought I was engorged, but ...

| Strength | 23 Dec 2004 10:51 GMT | 5 |
Last night, while I was making dinner, I had a spectacular accident with a jar of tomato sauce. I was straining to open it, using a jar opener tool, and it went flying out of my hands and crashed onto the floor.

| hip pain | 23 Dec 2004 08:55 GMT | 4 |
I have some quite bad hip pain on the side I sleep on now. Not all the time, but sometimes when I wake up, where the joint is (not the crest) it feels like I've been laying on concrete rather than the lovely bed I've been sleeping on for the last 5 years with no problems. Being ...

| Someone else's chart | 23 Dec 2004 08:39 GMT | 6 |
Anyone have any thoughts? She's gotten a whole string of negative HPTs. (She charts in Fertility Friend, which gave her a clearly erroneous coverline; I've transcribed into TCOYF to fix that.) http://www.ovusoft.com/forum/chart.asp?id=allyphoe

| ok time to stop procrastinating | 23 Dec 2004 04:40 GMT | 1 |
I will be offline for up to 3 weeks. We wont have a phone right away in our new apartment so that means no internet and that means no newsgroups *sob* As soon as we get the 50$ to connect the phone we will get internet and then newsgroups! Yay!

I'm afraid she's piggy-backed onto Carlos' site due to a lack of time (and technical incompetence): http://www.babiesonline.com/imagegallery/gallery.asp?be=c/carlos2002 If you scroll down to the bottom, there are three recent photos of her.

| Having guests wash hands - until what age? | 23 Dec 2004 03:16 GMT | 23 |
My close family does not have much respect to hygiene... asking my parents to wash hands before holding their grand daughter is a battle. My question is, is there any age where you can say that babies imune system is strong enough so that people do not need to hash their hands
