Acetaminophen liver toxicity20 Dec 2004 10:04 GMT8
At 8 months old, Monkey Boy finally erupted a tooth last Thursday
morning.  Because he was very fussy and uncomfortable trying to eat
anything, I dosed him with acetaminophen (Tylenol infant liquid, red
flavor) several times on Thursday and again on Friday.

One for the Stats enthusiasts19 Dec 2004 14:02 GMT11
I have been looking up published statistics from 2002 (the most recent

am likely to deliver at.  Other people interested in NSW maternity hospital
stats can find them at
14th June 2003 - for Larry19 Dec 2004 07:21 GMT1
Larry mentioned he would be interested in reading other "day in the life
of", anyway this won't be entirely accurate, but not far off as it was quite
an eventful day. 14th June was his due date, we were told by many people
that things would change or get better, well they were ...

So after using AOL for about 5 or so years now, I have FINALLY figured out why
I never get the birth stories.
I've always been so frustrated- I've set the parameters up as high as they can
go and still don't get the really long posts- I found out completely by

VERY OT - eqivalent of dried vs. canned beans18 Dec 2004 21:08 GMT14
I have a white chili recipe that calls for 1 pound of dried white
beans. I want to use canned, but canned beans will have significant
water weight in them, and 1 pound of canned beans will be too little.
Does anyone know what weight of canned beans I should use, or is there
DH back to work... baby won't sleep!18 Dec 2004 20:20 GMT33
DH went back to work this morning...  All went well at first.  We all woke
up around 6 AM, I fed Catherine and then DH rocked her to sleep while I took
my shower.  I went back to bed and he brought her to me, then left around 8
AM.  Catherine and I woke up around 12, and I fed ...
My update--(m/c ment)18 Dec 2004 20:13 GMT30
I had my appointment to discuss my test results with my OB last week. I
tested positive and high for one of the antiphosolipids which is causing

unlikely that I will maintain a pregnancy without intervention ...
How soon do you select the hospital?18 Dec 2004 15:22 GMT43
I'm REALLY early in pregnancy (5 weeks today) but was wondering how
early I need to start thinking of potential hospitals.
I have been doing some research and it seems that North Fulton Regional
Hospital in Atlanta is one of the best; what are other people's
25 weeks post-checkup update18 Dec 2004 14:43 GMT2
Just had my 25-week prenatal checkup with the OB (who's been voted as
best OB/GYN in town for I dunno how long). This is a practice of 5
doctors, and I've seen 4 so far. I like the doctors, the nurses, and the
staff, who've been always friendly and helpful. I feel I'm in good hands
why?18 Dec 2004 09:22 GMT16
ok, so often people don't announce pregnancies til they have passed 12
weeks, so why on earth did a friend last night announce that she would have
been 12 weeks pregnant, but they lost the baby, I thought the whole reason
not to tell was in case you lost the baby. Another friend ...

Teething Question17 Dec 2004 19:41 GMT2
Recently a couple of you - (Vicky & Mona I think?) - mentioned how your
babies had got unusual first teeth, the 'fangs' for example!
Well, Ana appears to be getting a molar! This seems really strange to me as
she's only five & a half months, but she's chewing insanely on anything ...
