I haven't seen the details yet, so it's unclear to me
whether this is likely to change policy, but it
sounds at least a little bit encouraging.

tonight I was slightly not paying attention and I heard the baby swing
switch on so I told Bonnie to push the swing if she wanted the baby to

Gah! Health insurance17 Dec 2004 03:49 GMT7
We just got the "re-up" data for the small business plan at my husband's
work. They are increasing the premium for our current plan by more than $300
per month, plus increasing copays by $5 per visit. Ugly, awful, nasty.
So we looked at other options, and will settle on one which ...

Yeh I am so excited it is getting to the end.  I am so ready to have this

Well all turned out good.  Baby has stayed heads down but he could turn

Cold herbals in pregnancy17 Dec 2004 01:37 GMT4
Alright, enough is enough ;)  This is the second full week I have had
congestion and a light sore throat.  Last Friday I thought that I was
getting better, but whammo today.  I've restarted Sudafed, tylenol, and the
Echinacea tea.
Twist my arm...:)17 Dec 2004 01:34 GMT11
My aunt sent me a link from the BBC showing that preliminary research shows
that theobromine, found in good, dark chocolate and cocoa, is a cough
suppressant. And since there's *also* research showing that women who eat
chocolate in pregnancy have happier babies, well, a girl's ...
re-introduction of a former regular17 Dec 2004 01:07 GMT5
My name is Pamela, I live in Brisbane, Australia and I'm 33yo. I am a primary
school teacher working part time (5 days a fortnight).  I've been married for 10
years (DH Paul) and have a 3yo son (Owen).
This is a return for me to a group that gave me great info and comfort for a
Update, the baby is fine : )16 Dec 2004 23:15 GMT3
The baby does not have IUGR although he is small. Hes measuring at 4.10
pounds but still has a month to cook. Thanks for all the replies and I told
my wife not to take that protein. Her placenta is fine so maybe hes just a
small baby. They are going to do that bio scan once a week ...

our first one is due late next month and one of our cats nearly put my
wife's eye out last night in her sleep, her face is a bloody mess.  our cats
are sweet and friendly, but every now and then they play rough, so we're
learning we need to err on the side of caution.  we need a ...
Spooky preg brain16 Dec 2004 16:52 GMT33
As I was falling asleep last night, I had the strangest experience. It was
like a very clear voice, not audible, just in my head, saying, "I'll be 8
weeks old on Sunday, April 3."
Considering this is less than a month after my due date, and that I had no
Matthew's birth story (semi-long)16 Dec 2004 16:39 GMT18
I'm trying to catch up on things (including the due date calendar - I
SWEAR!!!) and I wanted to post this. I had about three hours of 45 min of
contractions ranging from 3-10 minutes apart on Tue early am (Nov 30). When
I went in to my OB appt on Wed, I had gone from 3 cm dilated ...
Embryo toxic factor -- Experience anyone?16 Dec 2004 16:35 GMT6
I've tried googling this, and AFAIK this is when your body responds to a
pregnancy as a malignant growth and attacks it, resulting in m/c. Does
anybody have experience with this and the most common treatments? I
haven't been tested for it, but my gyn put me on high dose progesterone
Going NUTS -- Please help me -- I had intercourse 14 days ago when I was fertile16 Dec 2004 16:06 GMT7
6 days later I started spotting (at which time I was still a good 3
days away from the onset of my period).  I'm still spotting and it's
been 8 days of it!  My period never came (it was just too light to be
justified a period - even a panty liner was too big to use for the

My wife is 36 weeks. She went for her normal checkup today and the OB
did an Ultrasound. He said the baby is 4 pounds and should be 5 pounds.
We are going thurs for all the tests and all that. I guess my question
is, could he be wrong? Shes pretty late for only a 4 pound baby, I ...
