32 week update15 Jan 2005 06:19 GMT1
I love my OB! He is so mellow it's a joy. He's even more mellow than the
midwives we had last time.
I went in, peed in a cup, got weighed and bp checked (110/70) and then he
came in. He felt around my tummy to figure out where the heart should be
gender selection questions15 Jan 2005 06:03 GMT3
I am desperate to know the success that people have had with gender
selection.  My dear friend is trying to conceive a girl after 3 boys.
She is looking into gender selection and is trying to try and find the
best route to take.

I delivered my baby via c-section almost 6 weeks back. I dinot really

arrgh...now won't nurse, but hungry constantly?15 Jan 2005 01:08 GMT3
Alli had been taking EBM every 4-5 hours (about 3-4 oz), and at least
attempting to nurse in between. Well, yesterday, she absolutely refused to
take a breast, but started demanding food about every hour on the hour, then
taking maybe an ounce at a time. She took one good sized ...
Is it Braxton Hicks?14 Jan 2005 20:33 GMT3
I am at 18w 4d and I have started having some strange tightness on the
sides of my abdomen during periods of activity - its possible it happens at
other times but it might not be noticeable, because its the movement that
makes the tightness feel uncomfortable.  Its kind of feels ...
Traumatic urinary test: Normal????14 Jan 2005 19:06 GMT10
My little, two-month-old girl had an appointment for her shots today.
They took her temp and found she had a low-grade fever (100.4). The
doctor immediately suggested she should be checked for a urinary
infection and my baby was put through a horrible experience of getting
Lorelei Update14 Jan 2005 14:53 GMT2
Lorelei is nine weeks old.  She weighs 12 lbs. 6 oz. and is 23.5 inches long.
She smiles, laughs aloud, and coos. :-)
She is a perfectly happy baby as long as there is someone to hold her.  On
weekends this is never a problem.  Weekdays I have a harder time getting things
grumble, I think I'm about to rant14 Jan 2005 10:20 GMT15
so, I'm 18 weeks 2 days and it already feels like I've been pregnant a life
time. Today is a bad day, I have been awake since 3 am when I woke with a
painful contraction, so I'm feeling tired and am still having irregular
painful contractions, Nathanael is in a grumpy mood as he ...
pls, Only answer if you've lost weight during pregnancy14 Jan 2005 06:15 GMT8
I'm so annoyed with people saying that a woman can't lose weight and that
they shouldn't reduce how they eat if they are pregnant.
I am NOT looking for advice on not losing weight.  Rather I am looking for
honest answers from women that may have lost weight during pregnancy.

Cloth diaper covers advice please14 Jan 2005 02:44 GMT17
I'm pretty sure we are going to go with cloth diapers, using a diaper
service. For those who are interested the service is $14.95 (all prices
in Canadian dollars) a week and you get 70 diapers. This seems like a
good deal to us, as a 40 pack of Pampers Swaddlers or Huggies (don't

Early scan done at 7-8 weeks was pointing to the due date of Jan 25th.
But my doctor miscalculated at that time and said Jan 30. Now again
she calculate after about 8 months and told that the due date is
