We saw the 5th, also the final and most senior, OB in the group practice yesterday at my 27 week checkup. She's just WONDERFUL! Very positive, responsive and encouraging while tending to every little detail. No wonder she's voted and on the cover of our city magazine as one of the

| I want another baby.... | 03 Jan 2005 01:46 GMT | 151 |
soooooooooo bad! I plan to wean Rachel when she is 1 if she hasn't already weaned herself. I figure by 1 at the latest, she will be on enough solids and able to have cow's milk. I don't want to wean her when she will have to have formula, so a year is fine by me. She has never been ...

| distinguishing between irritable uterus and preterm labour | 02 Jan 2005 13:00 GMT | 8 |
I think that ultimately the difference is whether dilation/effacement occurs? But is there anything else that can help you tell the difference? I'm now struggling with what must be irritable uterus, it wasn't exactly easy to cope with last time, but at least I could just rest, ...

Sigh. I am now exactly mid thirties, heading to fourties, and technically advance maternal age (why do they keep bumping that age up?!) Today I turned 35. Yowza. I remember when my mom was 35-time flies :) Happy New Year everyone!

| 9 week old and the flu | 01 Jan 2005 19:27 GMT | 3 |
What are the chances that Jessica (9 weeks) can dodge this bullet? The flu complete with vomiting and diarrhea is making it's course through my house. Ds had it, dh has it now and I'm petrified that she's going to get it. Other than quarantine sick ones and wash hands obsessively ...
