Let me first say that Dr. Sears' Baby Book is one of many that I bought before my baby was ever born -- along with a set of What to Expect books: When you're expecting and the First Year...(yawn for those two) Anyway, while I have found that attached parenting is not

| 36+ week update | 21 Jan 2005 07:16 GMT | 9 |
I had my 36+ week appt. today. After a rocky start (my CNM was running late, I was willing to wait the 15 minutes for her to get there but another CNM came in even though *my* CNM showed up right after. grrr, but not a huge grrr) I mellowed out. Basically everything is fine ...

| MKP faces page? | 21 Jan 2005 04:55 GMT | 3 |
I'm a regular on the American Idol NG and one of the members has a page with all of the 'regulars' on it. Even though I'm much more of a lurker than a poster here (sometimes) I thought it may be a neat idea for MKP to do it too. I'd be willing to

| Naps and...FAO Ericka K | 21 Jan 2005 02:20 GMT | 2 |
First I have a comment, then a question: Since he was about 3 or 4 months old, V. has been a pretty good little napper but I always found myself getting antsy when he'd start to show signs of getting sleepy either too early or too late in the day. He

I have 2 girls already, nearly 8 and 4.5 yrs and I have always said I will NEVER forget the pain of childbirth. Abby was a true water birth (3kg - normal) and with Fiona I was dragged out of the pool after the head crowned (gyno had written on my notes she was 4kg (large) and ...

Hi Girls This is my first posting to good ol' m.k.p for 8 years as I found out last week I am expecting no. 3 in September. Bit of a shock as 1 and 2 were planned (and took their time in conceiving - 6 mths and 8 mths) and

| 8 week update | 20 Jan 2005 05:08 GMT | 1 |
Gosh, is it really that long since I've had more than 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep?! DD2 is growing like a weed - she started out at 6 lb, and was up to 11 lb 9 at 7 weeks, so I'm assuming she has now doubled her birth weight. Her thigh measurements are the same as her 2 year ...
