| really need advice | 07 Feb 2005 22:24 GMT | 8 |
Quinn is still having fevers off and on and has now since Sunday. If he's still the same tomorrow morning our doctor wants us to come back in for some more blood tests. Also, He's not eating or drinking hardly anything. We basically had to force feed him last night as he was

| I'm home :-) | 07 Feb 2005 19:51 GMT | 4 |
I'm out of the hospital now, the doctor described me as a text book case, though it's something I've never heard of. He said I would be sore for a while, I have a course of antibiotics to complete, but the likelyhood is that this is a blip, which will be solved by growing the ...

| Hospital recommandations in Boston, MA? | 07 Feb 2005 04:29 GMT | 7 |
What hospital do you recommend in Boston, MA and why? I live near Mass General and NEMC, so I consider them. NEMC would be the cheapest for me. Do you any stories about those hospitals (considering having a baby)? Anything negative?

| baby eye color (not the usual question) | 07 Feb 2005 04:25 GMT | 9 |
We were expecting him to be born with blue eyes, instead they're nearly black. It's very odd looking, his coloring is like a dark dark grey with a hint of green when the light hits it. They don't look brown. Any ideas where this color is heading? It's not a natural looking ...

| 35.5 week update | 06 Feb 2005 21:11 GMT | 7 |
I had my weekly appointment today and, since he was swabbing for GBS anyway, I let him do an internal. I'm already 2 cm dilated (which I know doesn't mean anything), but I am now asking the baby to start coming next Friday at 1 p.m. This will make him/her exactly 37 weeks (so no ...

| Silly worrying | 06 Feb 2005 19:42 GMT | 11 |
I posted yesterday that I'm 2cm dilated and that, intellectually I know that doesn't mean anything. However, I was up from midnight to nearly 2 a.m. worrying that I'm going to go into labor early (i.e., before 37 weeks) and have to deal with a premature baby. Now I'm also, ...

| Happy MKP dream! | 06 Feb 2005 18:26 GMT | 8 |
So, last night I dreamt that I was much further along than I am and went into labour. I posted something about it on mkp, and one of you wonderful ladies (I don't know who!) somehow travelled over the internet and stepped out through my computer and hung out with me,

| circumcision risk | 06 Feb 2005 15:01 GMT | 27 |
I don't want to believe the following brief abstract. The first study to examine the probability of HIV infection per act of heterosexual sex among a population with multiple sexual partners has found that uncircumcised men have more than twice the risk of

| POLL: labour times | 06 Feb 2005 09:50 GMT | 39 |
i just read in a parenting magazine: "the reality is [in] the second birth...labour is usually half as long - and often even shorter". so i'd like to know if that is correct. so: how long was your first labour?
