If I had a free hour...06 Feb 2005 05:36 GMT23
I would most like to work out to one of my exercise videos right about now.
I am so exhausted here lately and I just want a good, hard workout. The
really sweaty, high powered kind.
I can't seem to do this as Rachel won't stop crying when I put her down! I
sick :-(06 Feb 2005 03:21 GMT11
I've been sick again this morning, last time was Friday, so it really is
nothing more than NVP, but at 21 weeks I thought I was past that! On Friday
I felt better very quickly, today I'm not having the same luck, fortunately
DH was still home when it happened and DS is being ...
Arguments against routine induction for postdates06 Feb 2005 02:01 GMT1
Shamelessly quoted from the latest Midwifery Today newsletter:
Postdates, by itself, is not associated with poor pregnancy outcome. Extreme postdates or postdates in conjunction with poor fetal growth or developmental abnormalities does show an increased risk of stillbirth. But if ...
Pregnancy and Nausea - Diclectin/B6/Ginger - What Helped You?06 Feb 2005 01:39 GMT6
This is my 2nd pregnancy.  I am 6 weeks and my nausea has started early
(last time it started at about 8 weeks).  My nausea is severe enough to
incapacitate me (it's all I can think about and I WANT to vomit to
relieve myself, but I do not vomit).  I can fight through it each day,
Diapers... how do you guys do it?06 Feb 2005 00:35 GMT51
Well, we're doing cloth, which is not particularly intimidating for me
except that I'm a little daunted by the fact that I'm sewing 'em myself.
(Once I get started, it will be fine...it's just *getting* started...) I've
done cloth before. I expect I'll spent about $100 total on ...

What hospital do you recommend in Boston, MA?05 Feb 2005 22:21 GMT5
I´m relatively new to Boston and just found out that I´m pregnant.
What hospital would you recommend and why? Mass General and NEMC are
the closest hospitals for me, so I´m considering them. NEMC would be
the cheapest option for me. Have you any negative comments about those
post surgical question05 Feb 2005 21:07 GMT16
Just a quick question!  I had my baby via c-section last Monday, January 24.
In my post surgical instructions, I am told that I cannot drive my car for
3-4 weeks.  Can someone explain to me exactly why I must wait this long to
drive a car?  It's an automatic car and I can't ...
Birth story - rough cut05 Feb 2005 20:20 GMT26
Wednesday, January 26, 2005
N. woke up at 4:50 am. I was so tired. I turned on “cleaning” Maisy
and let her watch that, and then she watched Dora, and then she watched
Teletubbies! Meanwhile I dozed. Partway through Teletubbies I got up to
Baby stopping breathing.05 Feb 2005 20:18 GMT21
My sister had a baby yesterday by c/s. Last night after feeding he stopped
breathing. He was resussitated and is now on a ventilator.
He also apparently had a couple of seizures where his legs shook (and
possibly one arm too)
Big Babies and Healthy Eating05 Feb 2005 19:55 GMT48
Hi.  I am expecting for the 3rd time.  With each of my 2 prior pregnancies
I had large babies.  9 and 8 pounders.  Also I was huge while pregnant.
Does anyone know if a woman's diet is tied to the babies birthweight.
Thanks for your help.
Simplicity Milan 4 in 1 Crib05 Feb 2005 17:54 GMT1
We're looking into cribs and were eyeing the Simplicity Milan 4 in 1.
We couldn't find much info on the various shopping sites and were
wondering if anyone has any exprience with them or with Simplicity
furniture in general.  Are they safe/well-made?
thanks for all the well wishes!05 Feb 2005 07:06 GMT1
Thank you all for responding!  I have not been at the computer much.  I am
feeling better today from that "been in a car wreck" postpartum feeling (or
as Southerners say, been rode hard and put up wet).  Baby is great.
Slightly tonguetied, but we're working through that.  Not ...
tough time05 Feb 2005 01:58 GMT21
Quinn woke up last night about 2am pretty upset and burning up.  We took
a rectal temp a couple times just to make sure it was accurate and he
had a 103.5 temperature.  My heart lept into my throat I was so scared.
Not only does he have 4 top teeth coming in at once but he's
Nausea when overdue - Is this normal?05 Feb 2005 01:17 GMT1
Well I'm now 6 day's past #1's due date and the baby is still cooking,
no signs of anything happening yet.
I'm finding it difficult to settle comfortably either sitting or lying
down as my pelvic pain comes back with a vengeance when I stay still
