Looks like another niece...03 Feb 2005 21:05 GMT8
Well, the SIL (due in June) just had an u/s (apparently they
wanted to check dates before her regularly scheduled u/s 2/9) and
they say it's a girl.  We will apparently be adding yet another "A"
name to the family--they've decided to go with Abigail to join
No more waiting03 Feb 2005 21:04 GMT4
I started spotting last night and I think AF is just about to start.  I was
so convinced I was pregnant this month too.  Even right now I feel more off
than ever, but it must not be true.  Has anyone else had a very odd thing
happening where in your throat/mouth you feel like ...
Oh my, back again!03 Feb 2005 21:01 GMT18
I'm in shock!  I got a bfp last night.  We weren't trying, and are both
really scared.  I've been crampy so I'm not holding much hope but I just
can't believe this.  I don't know for sure because I wasn't keeping track,
but I think I'm just over 5 weeks.
TTC and the wait to test03 Feb 2005 20:51 GMT11
Is there anyone else out there waiting to test next week?  AF is due next
Tuesday and the wait to test is getting so hard.  Hubby and I have been ttc
since October.  I had a m/c in July, since then I had hoped that I would get
pregnant again before now.  Of course I'm paying ...
Gender of baby question/poll/opinion.03 Feb 2005 19:11 GMT39
Where I am from, they will not tell you the sex of the baby (and since
it is government paid, I can't really argue about this).  During my
first pregnancy I didn't really care but for this one, I'd really like
to know but I am destined to wait until delivery until I find out.

when do you find the pediatrician?03 Feb 2005 15:20 GMT2
I'm not due 'til May 27th. I've been recommended a pediatrician by my
husband's father but I'm not sure when to call and talk to him or what to
say, really. How does one generally handle this?
Thanks for the advice!
Japanese recipes for expectant eating03 Feb 2005 15:15 GMT5
I'm poking around Japanese pregnancy sites to see if
I can find out what they're recommendations are wrt
to sushi.  No luck yet (the only food related one I've
found so far seems to be all about what you should eat,
9w1d update03 Feb 2005 13:02 GMT14
Saw the OB today for what ordinarily would have been
my first appointment, though I did go in for an early
scan at 5w6d, so it was actually my second.
U/S showed a robust little bubs (much bigger than last
Birth plan draft - comments, please?03 Feb 2005 12:38 GMT15
Our midwives have asked us to start getting our birth plan ready;
here's a draft based on the discussions my husband and I have had so
far. I'd really, *really* appreciate comments from people who have
been there, especially related to things we might have left out and
teething help03 Feb 2005 12:20 GMT6
Well, Quinn is almost 9 months old now.  He has the 2 bottom teeth in
and has for a the least a month and a half or so but now he has all four
of his top teeth coming in all at once, yikes!  I've tried giving him
some ibuprofen (which helps a little bit), baby orajel (which he ...
Poor Babies...03 Feb 2005 11:57 GMT14
Well, everyone in our house has come down with a lovely cough, cold, runny
nose, etc.  Taylor started it a week ago today, waking up from her nap with
a bright red cheek.  I thought it was Fifths Disease.  The red cheek was
gone by the next day, and the runny nose and cough had ...
36.5 week update03 Feb 2005 05:36 GMT2
Had my 37 week appointment with my midwife today. Lost 2 pounds since last
time so only a total weight gain of 16 pounds so far. Don't know how I
managed that as I've been eating plenty. Guess the last week off of work
trying to run after DD and do housework gave me a bit more of a ...
lots of sick babies...03 Feb 2005 02:36 GMT12
Is something going around?  Jamie's and Angela's
kids are sick, and my 19-month-old Pillbug just
went through a bout of fever and vomiting over
the weekend.  We went to the ER Friday morning
