I'm a twit22 Feb 2005 21:14 GMT7
You know, you get to a point where you think you've got it all licked -
you've given up smoking, caffeine, mercury-flavored fish, changing the
litterbox, etc. etc. etc. and then something sneaks up on you, and you
do this brainless thing that you really know better than to do...
Induction tomorrow - any good induced birth stories?22 Feb 2005 14:30 GMT15
Looks like I will be induced tomorrow (at 40w 6d) due to low amniotic
fluid (had a BPP today and the AFI was a 6-7 cm). I feel completely
comfortable that the induction is warranted but am still sad that it
looks like I won't go into labour on my own and nervous about the
Sophie? Anyone?22 Feb 2005 05:49 GMT1
This is more for people who have been around here a while that would
know Sophie- I was just wondering if anyone has spoken to her lately or
knows anything about how she is doing. I heard here a while back that she
was having computer problems and that she didn't have anyone to ...

24 weeks! viability!22 Feb 2005 03:09 GMT4
There were honestly times when I didn't think we would make it this far, but
we are here, I expect the likelyhood is that I will have intermittent bouts
of contractions and a full term baby, but when it gets really bad I do
worry, now there is slightly less to worry about, though ...
going to a chiropracter22 Feb 2005 02:51 GMT3
I've got an appointment with a chiropracter on Wednesday, I'm hoping he can
help my hips and pelvis and if I'm lucky my back, neck and shoulders as
well!
Is there anything I should be asking? What should I expect? How will I feel
MIL rant (dont you love honnesty)21 Feb 2005 21:21 GMT6
Ok to start off with.  We are having sleep issues in my house!  Bonnie never
sleeps in her room from bed time straight til morning.. She is a good
sleeper just not in the handy toddler bed set up in her bed room.  Xavier is
no place close to sleeping through the night despite a ...
IVF update21 Feb 2005 20:18 GMT3
Hi everyone.  Thanks for those of you who replied to my original post
(IVF questions).  Yesterday, the doctor transferred 3 (day 3) embryos.
1 was grade 5 and 2 were grade 4.5 (5 being the best quality).  Sadly,
he doesn't think there will be any to freeze.  Although 9 divided to 8

He wouldve been only going 5-10kms but it jolted my car forward and luckily
did no damage.
I got out of the car and he didn't even ask me if I was alright just started
How to give gripe water to a nb?21 Feb 2005 19:38 GMT7
My box of Gripe water says to give a newborn a 1/2 tsp. How do I do
that? My baby is 3 weeks old. I can't stick a teaspoon in the baby's
mouth!  Do I add it to a bottle? Mix it with formula? Should I go back
to the drug store and buy an eyedropper?  The box gives no hints on

Gopher Guts and Chinese Fire Drills21 Feb 2005 12:46 GMT4
I *thought* I had them trained not to overreact...
Went to lunch with Mom and Dad and one of Mom's neighbors today. After
lunch, walked over to a nearby store to pick up diaper pails. Was walking
around and suddenly felt something *weird*. Would have worried about
What to do with all the time ;-)21 Feb 2005 07:26 GMT15
After a couple of really really busy weeks, I am finally 'free' to do with
my time what I like. At least, as long as it is within the limits of my
contract here ;-) It's a relief to be out of the pressure again. I
generally deal with stress really well, but I learned that carrying ...
