I know I should be posting this on misc.kids but anyway my DD has a
viral infection.  She no longer has a fever hasn't had one in about 2
days, but she is still vomitting up juice, she can hold it down if I
mix it with the clear pedialyte but don't want to do that.  Only did it

Ow. 20 Feb 2005 16:00 GMT5
Okay, these are getting uncomfortable. I'm still not calling it labor and
won't until I see fluid. But, ow. Cervix is flatter. Baby is lower. Still
say it means that baby will be here within a month. I'd be happier, though,
if that month did NOT mean spending the whole damn time ...
39 weeks 3 days and crazy20 Feb 2005 10:18 GMT8
I'm stumped on the progression of symptoms... I haven't gained any
weight for the last two weeks, and my last checkup my belly measurement
was .5 cm less than the one before - he said that was fine, it was
likely from her "dropping" a bit.  Do lots of others experience no
It's a boy!20 Feb 2005 03:23 GMT35
Baby Andrew arrived at 11:39 at home this morning, Feb. 13.  I was way off
on when he was going to arrive, but I was right about him being big.  He is
9 lbs., 10 oz. (and that's after passing a *ton* of meconium, so they figure
I could add at least 2 oz. to it), 21", 14 1/2" head ...
All those principles I left behind19 Feb 2005 21:20 GMT35
I was having a conversation with myself the other day (hey, I'm a good
listener) and I was pondering all those principles I have sent down the
drain since my pregnancy... I just thought I'd make a list. Feel free to add
yours!

really worried about PPD19 Feb 2005 09:34 GMT2
last night I had a strange dream, I had mental health issues, but the
setting was back at school when I didn't have mental health issues (other
than postnatally, I think I may have had mild depressions about 6 years ago,
whilst I was at university, I had flu badly and it left me ...
any diabetics go past 40 weeks19 Feb 2005 08:23 GMT8
I am a type II diabetic who has been induced at 39 weeks with my first
pg, and would have been induced at 39 weeks 3 days with my second
except we got me going at 39 weeks with a sweep and some castor oil to
avoid the scheduled hospital induction.  Both times induction was
Update: Low Blood Platelet Count19 Feb 2005 07:25 GMT1
I went to the doctor yesterday.  He told me that my first test (Dec 28)
came back with a blood platelet count of 132.  The second test (Feb
4)came back at 94.  He was a bit concerned that it had dropped that
much in a month and so sent me for more bloodwork yesterday (Feb 17)

OB Checkup & Ultrasound - 7 Weeks19 Feb 2005 03:07 GMT4
I had an ultrasound and checkup this week.  One baby, with a heartbeat!
That was such a relief.  I was incredibly nervous about it.  Baby measured 6
weeks 6 days with a 130bpm heartbeat.  I'll be considered high risk once
again due to previous unexplained stillbirth, hypertension, ...
Why do women allow circumcision?18 Feb 2005 23:55 GMT11
