ok, so it could be a good thing, but I really didn't like the doctor saying
more women _should_ get this.
Could be a good thing for medically necessary inductions? But I can't
30 week update18 Feb 2005 20:06 GMT65
I am 30 weeks pregnant.
I had my LMC - Midwife appointment this week and everything is fine, my
blood pressure is low which is better than being high, my baby has a strong
heartbeat, she is lying transverse but that's fine because she may turn but

No Heart Beat in One Twin18 Feb 2005 17:12 GMT9
Yesterday I went in for my second U/S and no heart beat was detected in
one of the babies. The OB then sent me to a perintologist for
confirmation... still no heart beat.  I'm only 9 wks and I know that
"vanishing twin" is quite prevalent, but I can't help but worry about

Ovulation timing18 Feb 2005 15:36 GMT6
I've read that chances of getting pregnant with a late ovulation are not
good, or more likely to miscarry.  My question is, what constitutes late
ovulation?  I've been using the ovulation kit for the first time this month
and finally today it says I'm about to ovulate.  My period ...
40wk + 5 ..... where are you ??18 Feb 2005 14:16 GMT11
Well, my wife and I are at 40 + 5 and no sign yet. My wifes synth pubis pain
is starting to get even more painful ... which ironically may suggest it's
getting lower - I guess.
We saw the baby doctors on Tuesday where they tried a sweep - which was
Tylenol with Codeine18 Feb 2005 13:57 GMT24
Let me start out by saying that I trust my doctor...
I had a migraine yesterday.  Oh, wow, did it suck.  Because of my blood
pressure, the doctor said he wanted to know if I had a headache that
Tylenol didn't fix.  So, being a good girl, I dutifully called his
*no* Braxton Hicks17 Feb 2005 23:45 GMT11
How about NOT having any Braxton Hicks throughout the pregnancy thru the
38th week?  Has anyone had that experience and/or is it normal?
Thanks,
Lydia
Bradley Method and 2nd stage17 Feb 2005 22:03 GMT29
I've been reading "Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way", my current feeling
is that I want to combine their methods with being in water for the 1st
stage, but their 2nd stage methods are leaving me very confused,
particularly as having done it once before I do at least have ...
"Alcohol and pregnancy" clarification needed...17 Feb 2005 18:13 GMT24
This post is in fact a continuation of a previous message I posted
recently, but I thought it might be necessary to be examined on its
own merit due to some conflicting information I found, so it may
require some quite scientifically oriented views
false alarm?17 Feb 2005 14:40 GMT3
Here's the story:  about five days after I got off my period, my
boyfriend and I had sex.  Only part of the time was it without a
condom.  This happened again two days later.
Last week, I started noticing I hadn't been eating right (lack of
