They've taken the census data about the top 1000 names
over the last 100 or so year, and made an animated graph.

read, not too deep or heavy.  Have you read any of her other books?
This week I am reading Confessions of a Slacker Mom as well as ...
Hee hee! DH nesting15 Feb 2005 05:15 GMT9
So today, I get out of bed to find DH has scrubbed the master bathroom

and washed the curtain even). Great! Then I go out into the living room--not
usually "filthy" but always cluttered. The surfaces are ...

1 year old - falling down a lot15 Feb 2005 02:26 GMT8
A neighbor's 1 year old kid falls down a lot (walking, running) on flat
grounds. I thought it might be his short shoes, or ear infections or
something else. Anything overlooked?

Ever heard of a uterus "popping"?14 Feb 2005 21:46 GMT12
I think it was Larry who told me that this happens.
I was laying on my front in an awkward position and all of a sudden had
this strange movement in my uterus area.  I could feel something large
move, and dramatically so.  It wasn't painful, but discomfort and a

C-section to Vaginal Ratio recommendations?14 Feb 2005 17:55 GMT90
So, we went to our appointment at 8 am today, and we were told that our
doctor was at the hospital doing a c-section.  I now have a convenient
lead-in to a discussion I want to have with him, regarding his
c-section to vaginal delivery ratio.
Giving birth14 Feb 2005 17:52 GMT119
Lately I have been thinking about giving birth and became really afraid. I
have never been able to watch it on TV and always thought of it being the
worst horror pain experience ever.
I think it's got to do with the idea of baby going through small opening of
40 weeks pregnant: Questions re:delivery14 Feb 2005 17:13 GMT9
I have a fear of delivering my first baby...as most women I'm sure!  I
just wonder, do you feel yourself tear as the baby comes out?  Or are
you too amazed by what is happening to think of that?

is busy having a baby or really taking it easy and not checking in with us!

Newbie car seat question14 Feb 2005 16:10 GMT5

rather than the center seat.  Is this okay?  In thinking ...

How come when it's all so close to being done, I finally feel like I've got
the hang of it?
That is, I'm not sick, I don't always hurt, I'm more mobile most of the time
unless my hip slips a little and pinches the sciatic nerve, and even my
