my bp is up :-(12 Mar 2005 22:37 GMT54
At only 30 weeks pg :-(  It keeps repeatedly being 150/85 today.  This
happened to me in both my other pgs, but not until 34 weeks.  So, it's
rest and bp meds for me, and hoping that I can keep this baby inside
for at least another 7 weeks, and I imagine the pg is going to end with
persistent attacks of pain and vomiting after pregnancy12 Mar 2005 21:59 GMT9
My daughter Jen aged 25 had a baby 3 months ago. At about her 16th
week, we had to take her to hospital when she developed severe pains
just below her diaphragm. going into her back. She was very
frightened, but the hospital diagnosed severe indigestion. The pain
breech baby, options for labour12 Mar 2005 15:42 GMT19
I've been thinking and worrying for the past few weeks and maybe it's time
to ask for someone else's advice.
I'm 37+ weeks pregnant (due date 22 March) and the baby is breech. I had
ECV yesterday but it didn't work, she just wouldn't turn. I'm seeing the
Why do they make gripe water w/ alcohol???12 Mar 2005 08:36 GMT4
I've been curious about this for a while so I thought someone here may
have some insight.
Everything I've read says to avoid gripe water with alcohol.  So why
do they make it? Most of the gripe water brands that I see at the drug

printing birth announcements11 Mar 2005 22:08 GMT6
I'm new to this group and I'm not sure if this is where I should be
posting this dilemma--but I thought I would start here.  I'm trying to
print birth announcements and not having much luck.  I need to send out
100 so I'd prefer not to print at home.  I've tried three outside

Have you ever thought about publishing a book for people that includes the
correct way to handle pregnancy?  I read some of your posts and there seems
to be many aspects of mis-information by the medical community.  First there
was the 30% closure with certain birthing positions and ...
35.5 week visit: mixed news (LONG)11 Mar 2005 18:43 GMT54
Briefly, everything is swell for me and the baby, but my chances of
having the kind of birth I want are not looking great.
Let's start with the good news: the L'il Critter is doing *so* well.
She dropped last Sunday, head down. She has a strong heartbeat which
Hair Coloring11 Mar 2005 16:46 GMT1
I am hearing mixed messages regarding having your hair colored during
pregnancy.  I plan to get my hair colored this weeked (the grey is coming
through!).  It's going to be a permanent color and it will touch my scalp.
What are the concerns with that?  Is it only a problem in the ...

more GD stuff11 Mar 2005 06:06 GMT1
went to visit diabetes educator today and while i liked her very much, we
did argue about how much controlling blood sugar levels are going to affect
outcomes.  We agreed to disagree.  She gave me some info about the
complications associated with GD and my test kit and my ...
Hmmm...what's going on here?11 Mar 2005 05:16 GMT1
I removed my Mirena in January, and had what appeared to be a normal
period shortly thereafter.
Since then, nothing.  However, I'm also not feeling pregnant.  No
smell sensitivity, no noticeable changes.  I'm used to having long
Pregnancy is much less fun...11 Mar 2005 04:45 GMT2
...now that the baby has dropped.
And dropped some more. And settled. And is grinding her hard bony
little head against my cervix. I must have been to the bathroom twenty
times today. I am crampy and uncomfortable sitting at my desk. I ache.
Irritable Uterus Question11 Mar 2005 04:38 GMT3
I've been pretty crampy for this whole pregnancy so far.  The last few days,
it seems to be worse.  I'm only 11 weeks, is that too early for an irritable
uterus to flare up?
