I am 37 weeks today and feel like sharing. I have just started swelling a few days ago. Never had this problem first time around but actually had to take my shoes and socks off at work yesterday because they were causing discomfort and my ankles looked like sausages. After

| I think I felt the baby move! | 09 Mar 2005 12:36 GMT | 14 |
I'm 16 weeks, 6 days, and I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move this morning!! It felt like someone was tickling me from the inside, and it made my whole abdomen tense up. Of course, it promptly stopped as soon as I realized what was happening...

| Inordinately long birth story, final installment: Sarah and Jamie Vaughan. Part 4 | 09 Mar 2005 09:31 GMT | 26 |
Maybe my behaviour during contractions had been enough to convince the ambulance staff that I wasn't just making a fuss over nothing, because when we arrived it was they who offered me a stretcher and me who turned it down. I was afraid I'd leap straight off it when a ...

| I'm easy...lol | 08 Mar 2005 21:12 GMT | 5 |
I was doing great most of the day, to be sent into a tailspin when I was ready to leave the house to go bra shopping and could not find DH *anywhere*. I mean, he wasn't even on the property--and i had to be at the store in 20 minutes or not have time to get fitted. We ended up ...

| A bit of a whine | 08 Mar 2005 19:28 GMT | 6 |
I have been so sick. Last week from Tuesday to Saturday I ran a low-grade fever and was absolutely miserable. I thought I was on the mend this week, but no, not quite. This week everything I eat and drink resurfaces. Ugh. I'm starving, so I eat. And it comes back up. So I have ...

At least one of the kids in my daughter's day care class has chicken pox. My daughter doesn't have it, and has been vaccinated against it. I'm five months pregnant, and I don't know if I should be worried that I may have / may be at risk of getting chicken pox, which I know can ...

| 36w5d - baby big & breech | 08 Mar 2005 09:52 GMT | 31 |
Well, after the 30 week sonogram we knew we're having a big baby - 4lb 6 oz then. Never did we expect that his size would have doubled in 6 weeks. Today's sonogram showed him weighing appx 8lb 13oz and still in breech presentation. Our jaws were so dropped when we heard the numbers.

| concerned about hemorrhoids | 08 Mar 2005 01:26 GMT | 22 |
I'm in my 30th week of pregnancy at present with my second child. I have a son who's now a little more than 2 years old. I had a vaginal birth with him and though I did tear a little and got a few stitches, what really caused me a lot of agony post-partum was the hemorrhoid I ...
