| afterpains, conception and lochia after m/c ?? (loss ment.) | 03 Mar 2005 22:50 GMT | 5 |
hi, I'm wondering what I can expect (I lent TCOYF to a friend, doh!) after a loss at just after 12w? It occurred naturally at home (ie no D&C). I seem to have as much lochia as I did after a term pregnancy. That was unexpected, any comments or experiences there?

We were taking a ferry on the weekend and I was in the kids' play area with ds. A 4yo girl was dominating the play area, and had ds completely in thrall (he was following her around, doing anything she told him too, trying to steal kisses . . . )

So, my husband and I were cracking each other up last night thinking of songs that we could put on a CD to inspire me during labor. The best one we came up with was "Push It" by Salt 'n' Peppa (or however that's spelled).

| Glucose Tolerance Test | 03 Mar 2005 06:04 GMT | 29 |
Ok, it was mentioned in another post, and I have to ask... Is there any way to get out of the glucose tolerance test? I had one once when I wasn't pregnant, and I've never been sicker or more uncomfortable. I can't imagine fasting for 12 hours now - much less when I'm 28 or 30

For some reason in the middle of the night I was thinking about the reasons one might need to schedule a c-section, most specifically was trying to think of those that could still apply to me, but it was a more general musing as well, here's what I came up with

I've laid out all our baby stuff on the bed - I'm organizing it, or attempting to. It's kind of a loony selection. The Li'l Critter has eight 0-3mos-sized nightgowns, and none any larger. She has eight hooded towels - most of them hand-me-downs, but still surely an
