| Input needed on problems during pregnancy because of hormones! | 26 Mar 2005 12:32 GMT | 112 |

| I found my doula! | 26 Mar 2005 00:54 GMT | 4 |
I owe Melania a big hearty kiss! :-D [It turns out that not only do Melania and I live in the same city, we live *one block* away from each other!] The doula she suggested is a very good fit for me, with the perfect balance between natural and alternate remedies and medical ...

Does anyone know the formula that is used to calculate the risk of Down Syndrome based on the 3 markers from the triple screen? Also, how dramatic is the effect of the fetus's age on the result? I just had the test done, and am waiting for the result, but my period was never

| Newspaper from 15/03/05? | 24 Mar 2005 23:35 GMT | 5 |
I realise it's a bit late in the day now that a week has gone by, but I was wondering if anyone here might have a newspaper from the 15th of March (last Tuesday). Our son was born that day, and we meant to buy a newspaper to keep, but we never got around to it. I'm hoping people who ...

| Rebecca Jo's 'bad' 30 weeks appt | 24 Mar 2005 21:59 GMT | 2 |
Rebecca Jo's 'bad' 30 weeks appt thread was one of the best I've seen, culminating as it did with Rebecca Jo making an appointment with another provider, a midwife I think. Women should not have to ASK for the "extra" up to 30% of pelvic outlet area

| Ouch... first discomforts in pelvic area | 24 Mar 2005 06:01 GMT | 8 |
Towards the end of my first pregnancy I had symfesis pains that would mostly constrict me in getting in and out of bed, turn around in my sleep and walk up the stairs. That didn't start until roughly the third trimester and was quite manageable.
