I was just reading a poste by Circe (Barbara) about AROM-only inductions, and how they tend to work fairly well in multips. With DS, I ended up with Pitocin because my water broke and I didn't go into labor. I'm wondering

| Is 2nd labor always shorter? | 13 Apr 2005 07:56 GMT | 14 |
With my first child, my water broke at 5am. Mild contractions started around 7am. Hard labor started around 9:30am, and she was born at 10:45. I still opted for an epidural because I am a wuss when it comes to pain. But could the second one really be shorter than that?

I'm sorry I can't keep up, I only come here and post when I think I may have a problem. It's just too hard to find computer time when 30 weeks pg and have a 22 month old to keep up with! My toddler still wakes up 1-2 times a night, 2-3 days a week. Normally,

I have been trying to find some information on the idea of counting fetal kicks as a way of monitoring if everything is ok. Most of the info I find is pretty vague, so I thought I'd glean the wisedom of mkp if that's ok.

| how high of bp is too high? | 12 Apr 2005 14:49 GMT | 9 |
Okay, so with my rising bps I am wondering how high is too high, and at what level should I definitely just go deliver rather than arguing with anybody about waiting longer? I think I have both pre-existing hypertension that was helped with the aldomet, and then PIH which is

I am still working FT and have found it a neccesity to keep well stocked because if I don't eat periodically all day, I feel like I'm going to collapse. I've got a short list of things I figure are good choices, please add to it!
