5 weeks pregnant, 8550 hcg level13 Apr 2005 19:34 GMT9
I had blood drawn this evening because I've been cramping and spotted a
little today.  I'm only 5 weeks, and my quantitative hcg came back at over
8500.  The nurse was VERY surprised and they want me in to the clinic ASAP.
I don't know anything about hcg levels.  Does anyone know ...

AROM for induction purposes/chances or PROM in multip?13 Apr 2005 10:48 GMT13
I was just reading a poste by Circe (Barbara) about
AROM-only inductions, and how they tend to work fairly
well in multips.  With DS, I ended up with Pitocin because
my water broke and I didn't go into labor.  I'm wondering

Is 2nd labor always shorter?13 Apr 2005 07:56 GMT14
With my first child, my water broke at 5am.  Mild contractions started
around 7am.  Hard labor started around 9:30am, and she was born at 10:45.  I
still opted for an epidural because I am a wuss when it comes to pain.  But
could the second one really be shorter than that?
Good news, bad news...13 Apr 2005 07:37 GMT3
Bad news, I'm 42 freakin' J cup.
Good news? I actually found someone who can consistently get me bras that
fit for less than $17 including shipping. Good bras even. Yay ebay.

30-week insomnia -- normal?12 Apr 2005 22:47 GMT7
I'm sorry I can't keep up, I only come here and post when I think I may
have a problem. It's just too hard to find computer time when 30 weeks
pg and have a 22 month old to keep up with!
My toddler still wakes up 1-2 times a night, 2-3 days a week. Normally,
Counting kicks12 Apr 2005 15:04 GMT14
I have been trying to find some information on the idea of counting
fetal kicks as a way of monitoring if everything is ok. Most of the
info I find is pretty vague, so I thought I'd glean the wisedom of mkp
if that's ok.
how high of bp is too high?12 Apr 2005 14:49 GMT9
Okay, so with my rising bps I am wondering how high is too high, and at
what level should I definitely just go deliver rather than arguing with
anybody about waiting longer?  I think I have both pre-existing
hypertension that was helped with the aldomet, and then PIH which is
best pregnancy snack suggestions?12 Apr 2005 14:49 GMT14
I am still working FT and have found it a neccesity to keep well stocked
because if I don't eat periodically all day, I feel like I'm going to
collapse.  I've got a short list of things I figure are good choices, please
add to it!
