Period returning08 Apr 2005 14:42 GMT2
How soon would you expect your cycle to be back to normal (including
ovulating etc.) if you're not breastfeeding (and haven't been since about 4
weeks). I'm asking for a friend. Does it completely vary or is it more
precice than breastfeeding?
30 weeks, position and size08 Apr 2005 07:43 GMT3
well 30 weeks was actually yesterday, but I just measured and felt where the
baby was, I'm no expert so I could easily be wrong, but the only "hard" part
I could find was top centre of the bump and it was very hard and then
vanished quite quickly, what I remember from last time ...

I was on the pill and began bleeding post coitally around the 14-16th day
of the month ( which points to ovulatory bleeding)and also 2-3 days before
my period was due.  After 6 months of this i came off the pill and have

Katy slept in her own bed!07 Apr 2005 18:52 GMT1
Katy's been sleeping in bed with me since she was three weeks old (she's
now six months old)... the crib had become mainly a changing table, but
Katy is showing signs of crawling soon, and she's rolling around a lot
on my bed.  I'm really nervous about her falling.
What a day07 Apr 2005 17:54 GMT10
After congratulating myself on getting to the magic 28 weeks without
problems, I had a rough day today.  Started last night about 3am when I was
having some minor cramping and contractions, not enough to really worry me,
but enough to keep me awake.  By the time I went back to sleep ...
Baby and headache don't mix07 Apr 2005 14:39 GMT1
I handled the first 9 weeks of motherhood well.  I coped without major
incident.  I adjusted to sleep deprivation.  Then came the first time
that I didn't feel well.  The first day that I had to spend alone with
baby was ok.  I cried a little but managed.  The second day was a bit
FAO Hilary:  OT dog question07 Apr 2005 14:11 GMT8
Hilary,
Do you mind answering a question in your professional capacity? :-)
We have a new dog (a giveaway) whom we acquired as a companion for our
existing dog.  She's a 1-2 year old female; he's around the same age;
Co-sleeping to own room - the transition07 Apr 2005 08:53 GMT37
This is me thinking way ahead, as usual - as several people have
probably noticed, I do like to think out strategies for potential
issues/problems of parenthood well in advance rather than having to wing
it when a situation comes up.  This has its pros and cons, but it's the
to lindsey07 Apr 2005 05:28 GMT7
Lindsey- It was very irresponsible of you to not take more precautions
considering your situation and the point in your life at which you are
at. It is important that you look out for yourself in this world
because no one else is going to. Due to the fact that you thought you
FAO Ericka (and others): confusing symptoms07 Apr 2005 01:57 GMT24
Okay, here's my situation:
Over the past few weeks, I've been noticing that fetal movement often
hurts. Not like being bonked in the ribs or the cervix, but any real
push or kick hurts. It's like my abdominal wall is really tender or
