| 39.5 week midwife visit | 04 Apr 2005 02:54 GMT | 17 |
For all that I was frustrated by the way my preliminary labor signs vanished last Sunday, it does seem like there's been good progress: at today's visit I was 3cm dilated (!!!) and 60% effaced, and the baby has moved down to -1 station. (No wonder I'm feeling so much pelvic

Had a doctors appointment today and it went pretty good, except for the exceptionally long wiating period. I am 3 cm dialated and pretty thinned out (not sure of the number she said). She also said baby is down pretty far and is ready to come out. My platelets were down to 61

| how soon did you start to show? | 03 Apr 2005 23:37 GMT | 6 |
During my first pregnancy (8 years ago) I wore all my same clothes until about 4 months. I just found out I was pregnant a couple days ago, so I'm only about 4 weeks. I haven't really gained any weight, but my belly/abdomen are so much bigger, there's no way I can fit into my ...

Hi, my wife has been breastfeeding our little one for about five months with no problems with her supply, but today her milk stopped flowing (actually, it's just a trickle). We don't see any major changes that would have caused this. Might the milk start flowing again? Is ...

| midwife interview | 02 Apr 2005 02:55 GMT | 18 |
I had the midwife interview today and it went fabulously. :-D I am now going to be giving birth in the birth center with the wonderful (SO NICE!) midwife instead of in a hospital with the doctor. The birth center was very nice and comfortable feeling.

| BH contractions | 01 Apr 2005 20:17 GMT | 12 |
They never really bothered me when I was pregnant with DS. If I had them, I must have missed most of them. But since a few days I have quite a lot, and I'm getting slowly worried. I will call my OB/GYN later today (when I have some privacy in the office), but in the mean time I was ...

| Moaning : strained back! | 01 Apr 2005 16:52 GMT | 4 |
What a nightmare! I strained my back yesterday morning when I picked up DD. I suppose I made a false move, even though I took care to bend my knees and not lean over too much... Well, what's done is done: I strained my sacro-lombaire (sorry, don't know in English, only it's in ...

I got my new doppler this morning and both times I have checked the baby the heartrate has been between 180-185. In the leaflet it says normal is between 120-160. Am I worrying over nothing? With my boys their heartrates were around
