had any colostrum.
just wondering, anecdotally(spel?) if anyone else has had this same
37 weeks already?24 Apr 2005 10:56 GMT7
I haven't really been doing updates here, preferring to keep them in
livejournal but since I'm nearly at the end, I thought I'd share today's
findings :-).

FAO: Jamie Clark/any surrogate info?24 Apr 2005 03:44 GMT2
Jamie, I can't remember if you guys had looked into surrogacy before you
adopted.  I'm looking into becoming a surrogate for a couple we know and was
wondering if you had any words of wisdom, useful info, etc?  If you do,
could you e-mail me? andersons6atverizondotcom.

If you answered my recent messages (sent sometime in March I don't remember
precisely when I sent them) I didn't get your replies. My downloads from
Misc.kids. pregnancy went from 2/13 to 3/22 with nothing in between. In my
opinion, this sucks.
Introducing cereal at 5 1/224 Apr 2005 02:47 GMT17
Sue,
I didn't know this was a BF newsgroup :)   We're planning on BFing Matthew
until he's about year.  However,  his doctor recommended that we start him
on cereal (mixed in with BF) before his 6 month appointment.  He just had

amazed!23 Apr 2005 07:33 GMT1
I just watched Baby Story on TLC and watched an OB deliver twins vaginally!
The first one was head down the second breach and both delivered vaginally.
I was quite pleasantly surprised especially this being a US show and given
the high rate of c-sections in the US. The father was ...
34 week update23 Apr 2005 01:49 GMT18
Well, this week I was in the hospital for one day due to having high
blood pressure.  I have had swelling in the feet and hands too, but no
other pre-e symptoms.  I hated it as the beds are too hard for me to
get much rest, and I can't stand laying there alone watching TV.
Taking a break22 Apr 2005 22:45 GMT4
Until the first week of May I will be away on holidays. Yay!! Whatever the
weather, I *will* enjoy it, our last break before the big move home and
before the babies arrive. Goes to say I won't be posting much...
Pregnancy is going really well. My belly seems to grow almost half an ...
red raspberry leaf tea: safe???22 Apr 2005 22:44 GMT4
Just wondering if it is safe/recommended to take red raspeberry leaf tea.
I'm 39 weeks along and someone told me that this tea will do two things...
a) strenghten/tone my uterus to help ease contractions and make it more
efficient when it's time to push... b) help promote the ...
Insurance and midwives/birthing centers/homebirths22 Apr 2005 22:37 GMT7
I have to look into this more to verify, but my insurance says it
covers 100% of maternal care for the above. I'm kind of surprised -
pleasantly, but wondered if it's too good to be true?
Obviously, y'all can't answer that, but has this been a common
23 week appointment22 Apr 2005 16:10 GMT1
Juliet was very glad to be heading back to the regular doctor's office
today; she really didn't like the u/s appointment where she wasn't welcome.
We went back so I could pee in the cup. ACK! I really had to go too, and yet
I almost completely missed the cup instead soaking my ...

Private Ultrasound in Scotland?22 Apr 2005 10:51 GMT4
Hi there all, I've been lurking and reading :o)  Well, I'm 19+2 with my 3rd
child, first two being girls of 17 and 10 y.o.  I had a hospital scan at 12
weeks and all was fine, but as far as I can see, that's all I get, and all
my appts now are midwife/gp ones, and one more with ...
Rivka and Alexandra's birth story (LONG)22 Apr 2005 08:44 GMT22
We had decided to try an induction with Cervidil, because it seemed as
though, with my hip anomaly, we shouldn't let the baby get too big.
Also, I had been in prelabor for two solid weeks and was beginning to
worry that I'd be completely worn out by the time that *real* labor
