36 weeks update - bp lowers!19 Apr 2005 09:27 GMT3
Another eventful week.  I go to the doctor's twice a week for fetal
monitoring and to see the OB.  In the first appointment the baby was
back to breech again.  I had felt the baby flip back to breech again so
I wasn't surprised.  My BP was 140/96 at that appointment.
Due Date Day19 Apr 2005 05:57 GMT14
Today is my due date, finally.  It sure has seemed like a long time
coming.  I think I've been pregnant for ever :)  That being said, I now
kind of hope I don't go into labour for a few days so that I can get
over this stupid cold a bit and feel better before having this baby.

Question:19 Apr 2005 01:44 GMT17
Hi all. I have a question for all you mothers. What age do you think is appropriate for a child to be in the birthing room with you when the second child is born? My son will be 4 by the time I give birth and I want to keep him as involved as possible. He is soooo excited about ...

caesarean ops 'no help for blues'19 Apr 2005 00:33 GMT8
I am currently working on a project to investigate if there is any
link between post natal depression and caesarean sections.
Does anyone have any information that supports or disproves this
theory?
Super Volcano?19 Apr 2005 00:27 GMT8

flying today18 Apr 2005 03:02 GMT2
well today is the day, we're leaving Korea, I'm not looking forward to the
11 hour flight, but it has got to be done.
I'll probably be online fairly soon after we get back, one of the advantages
of having a computer geek for a husband.
back from the ultrasound17 Apr 2005 16:12 GMT3
So we went to the u/s, and Juliet waited exhausted and crying with her
Godmother while we went back. (I wore her out earlier at the park so she
just wanted to go home and nap, not wait without me in some strange waiting
room, poor thing)
Great Magazine-MotherVerse-Revival of old post17 Apr 2005 10:42 GMT1
Ok so I came across this group while searching in Google about
mothering magazines. I got so excited when I found the posts about how
there are not any decent (unbiased) magazine for mothers because this
is one of the reasons I started MotherVerse Magazine.
I decided to go with the bottle17 Apr 2005 10:38 GMT17
I decided to go with the bottle (baby's due early May) and
of course we have a couple of questions (it's our first baby).
Which formula is considered the best one (assuming the baby
has no irregularities like p.e. lactose-intolerance). And in
Practice Contraction17 Apr 2005 07:35 GMT3
I'm now 35 weeks pregnant I've been having the practice contraction for a
while on and off but yesterday I had 3 in one day pretty strong ones. I know
it's probably nothing to worry about but I'm a first time mum and wondered
if that was normal or am I just being paranoid?
PUPPP?17 Apr 2005 02:58 GMT8
I am 33 and a half weeks pregnant. I've had stretch marks for awhile.
Yesterday they started itching worse than normal. I am very careful not to
scratch them. I rub lotion and ignore them. Today it was worse and sort of
painful. I thought it was just because the stretch marks ...
CTTS: Preschooler on using u/s to find out the sex17 Apr 2005 02:09 GMT17
I told DS (almost 3yo) that we would possibly be able to find out
whether the baby is a boy or a girl (he says girl)
today, with the ultrasound.  I explained the ultrasound
as a machine that lets the doctors see the baby inside
17w update (u/s)17 Apr 2005 01:40 GMT27
Had the fetal anatomy scan ultrasound today.  Right
off the bat, I was reassured that the fluid levels were
normal.  Growth, etc. all look good.  My placenta is
"marginally previa", which means 95% chance it'll be
