| Birth Story - aka the gory details ;-) | 27 May 2005 19:27 GMT | 20 |
I lost my mucus plug at 1:30am on the 19th and contractions started almost immediately. We headed for the hospital at around 4am as I was feeling all the contractions very low down and was somewhat concerned about my scar. When we got there, the contractions were roughly every 5 ...

| Effect of second-hand smoke on babies? | 27 May 2005 19:17 GMT | 22 |
I have a request for all you research-savvy moms out there: my brother-in-law smokes outside the house, but always reeks of smoke. He and my sister have an 11-month-old baby and he does not believe that the smoke on his clothing will have any effect on her health. Are

I'm thinking of refusing the rhogam shot at 28 weeks. I'm O- and hubby is O+. I've had the shot at 28 weeks for my previous pregnancies and afterwards, but this will be my last baby. Hubby is getting a vasectomy, and I'm quite certain he's not changing his mind. My three ...

| My DH: Once very hesitant about natural/homebirth/midwifery | 27 May 2005 08:13 GMT | 8 |
Has now turned into a homebirth guru. He's buying books (and reading them), preaching to me of all the advantages, lamenting the overmedicalized birth in our society... There's nothing like the passion of a convert!

| My long weekend/week | 27 May 2005 03:56 GMT | 13 |
This might end up sounding like a whine, but I'm feeling a little overwhelmed!! I hit 20 weeks on Thursday (yea!!), but I've been dealing with a horrible toothache and tooth sensitivity. I've also got a raging yeast infection

| I want to ask you the most important question of your life. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die? The reason some people don't know for sure if they are going to Heaven when they die is because they just don't know. The good news is that you can know for sure you are going to Heaven. May 22, 2005 12:05:45 pm | 27 May 2005 03:53 GMT | 3 |
