Arizona Doula Recommendation04 Jun 2005 07:26 GMT2
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendation for a reputable doula
in the Phoenix/Chandler/Mesa/Tempe/Gilbert area in AZ?   I had a great
doula when I had my daughter...but she's no longer working now.
Thanks!
Found a backup doctor04 Jun 2005 05:49 GMT5
I still plan on having a homebirth, but my I needed to find a backup doctor.
On Friday, I met her, and I must say I think she's wonderful!  And if I do
choose to have a hospital birth, or I need to, this hospital is so much more
supportive of birthing as naturally as possible.  In ...
C-section tomorrow04 Jun 2005 03:42 GMT1
I had my amniocentisis today.  The first test that takes 45 mins said that
it wasn't going to happen.  Thank goodness they do a second test on the
fluid.  That test says everything is a go and that I should show up at the
hospital at 10am tomorrow morning and get preped for surgery. ...

So sick...03 Jun 2005 23:07 GMT15
It's 4:30 am and I am up (ugh) because I have another sinus infection
and I can't breathe.  Staying in bed was just going to wake my husband
up, so here I am, tea and Kleenex at hand, trying to resist the urge to
cut off my own head.

Tube sterilization and pregnancy02 Jun 2005 19:35 GMT3
On last October when  I had my second kid born in c-section I had my tubes
tied. Could I get pregnant? I haven't got my period this month (It comes
pretty much on time, the last three anyway) and I feel sick to my stomach
for the last week. Could I be pregnant?
Oxytocin and trust02 Jun 2005 04:18 GMT7
Hmmm...in light of recent research showing that oxytocin
is a hormone implicated in trust (a recent study showed that
a single dose of inhaled oxytocin made study subjects far more
likely to trust and make risky investments), one wonders if

haven't felt my girl move much at all.

bad as 5 of my ribs on the right are broken!!

Personal Question02 Jun 2005 01:37 GMT4
For the last few weeks the outer area of my vagina (just inside the
hair line) has been extremely irritated.  It is red and very itchy.  It
is not a yeast infection unless the symptoms for a yeast infection are
different during pregnancy.  There is no discharge or odour.  The
