amazingly I slept 5 hours straight last night, a very big improvement on the maximum of 2 hrs I'd had the previous 2 or 3 nights. Then hydrotherapy this morning, which really does make a difference, I've basically been up for the morning and evening and not in too much pain, so ...

I had a little trip to the ER on Saturday - related to some food poisoning I got on Friday exacerbated by a horrible stiff neck (couldn't turn my head) + fever for 24 hrs.... anyway, all is ok, fever subsided. Some tylenol and a lot of massage worked away the neck issue
