met the midwife today!24 Jul 2005 10:40 GMT10
I've been seeing my regular OB/GYN practice during the pregnancy thus far,
which is fine but there are 5 docs in the practice who also share rotation
with a 6th in independent practice.  I like 2 of the docs, dislike 2 and
haven't met the others.  I decided I wanted as natural of ...
3yo with runny nose update24 Jul 2005 00:11 GMT4
Since I posted a couple of weeks ago about my
mom's concerns that DS has had more than his fair
share of coughs/runnny noses, I've been tracking
his symptoms.   It seemed like a good idea to do
9.5 Month Well Baby Visit23 Jul 2005 16:31 GMT1
Addie had her 9.5 month checkup today, and was a real trouper.  19lbs 15oz
and 28 3/4 inches long.  She's in the 75-90th percentile for length and the
50-75th percentile for weight.  It's funny, Taylor was always in the 80-90th
percentile for both length and weight, so Addie ...

Hi again, thanks to all who replied to my last couple of questions - have

I'm almost 16 weeks, and have been putting on a LOT of weight recently and
it's starting to worry me a bit.  I put on 2 kilos almost straight away -

Today we drove two hours to our perinatologist appointment.  I'm going
positively insane at the though of having to drive through St.
Paul/Minneapolis after this baby is born. I am NOT a city driver at all.
Anyway, onto the appointment.  We had a level 2 u/s and a consult with the

delivery with fibroid22 Jul 2005 14:23 GMT7
I have a rather small fibriod (size of a plum).  I'm 16wks now and I'll
have another u/s in a few weeks....I hope that it has not grown.  But I
just want to ask you all about delivery with a fibriod.  I've heard
many different things like a C-section must be done or natural delivery

36 week visit22 Jul 2005 07:54 GMT13
Here's my update, with various questions interspersed...
I'm 1.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced!  I know that this means nothing in
terms of when I'm going to have the baby, but I can't help but be
hopeful that it will be SOON (especially since it's about 98 and humid
Part-time daycare for infants22 Jul 2005 07:01 GMT24
I'm looking to put "Lentil" into daycare two days per week when my
maternity leave is up. (DH works part-time.) She'll be 3 months old at
the time. I've put my name on the waiting lists of the reputable day
care centers in the area, but I'm starting to get the impression that
