couple of general questions12 Jul 2005 15:55 GMT3
Hi, quick intro, I'm 14 1/2 weeks pregnant with our first.  I just have a
couple of general questions (don't worry I'm sure there will be more to
come!!)
I'm taking Folic Acid tablets - in some books I've read it says to take them
charting v. peeing on a stick (TTC)12 Jul 2005 12:29 GMT18
Other than the expense, are there any drawbacks to using ovulation
detection pee-on-a-stick kits instead of charting when trying to

First of all apologies for gate crashing this site, I work for a
documentary television production company, we are making a brand new
documentary series for SKY ONE. The series features Paul McKenna, and
we are hoping to find someone interested in having a hypnobirth or
X-Files and Pregnancy12 Jul 2005 01:06 GMT10
Bit of an unusual header to say the least.
I and my pregant Missus really enjoy watching the X-Files, the audio output
of our "entertainment" system is quite powerful, therefore we are subjected
to lots of rumbling low frequency sound effects as we encounter alien space
I Don't Get It11 Jul 2005 23:16 GMT10

I'm having to killfile people I actually enjoy reading because these threads
are getting so insulting and useless...and huge!
22 week premie. what should the abortion time-limit be?11 Jul 2005 16:00 GMT48
I just read an article I thought I'd share with you all on the abortion
time-limit controversy.  According to this article, a British woman had
a 22 week old premie, who miraculously has survived and thrived.
Apparently, however, the British abortion time limit is 24 weeks,
Could I Be Pregnant?11 Jul 2005 15:31 GMT4
I am normally on Ortho-Evra, however I temporarily have been off of it for 2
weeks now as my prescription ran out & they needed an exam for me before
they would prescribe more. (They were supposed to honor it when I had the
test DONE, not when the results came back, so they told ...

Poll: Bouncer or no bouncer?10 Jul 2005 16:57 GMT27
I'm creating a baby registry right now, and am wondering how
usefull/necessary the bouncer seats are.  Some say it's a lifesaver,
others say it's a toy and can be lived without.  Also, how important is
a 5 point restraint on a seat?  Most popular bouncer seats have only 3,
Position10 Jul 2005 03:37 GMT6
I'm 34 weeks...
I'm feeling movement that is above where my lowest rib is, on the
outside of my rib cage.  I'm very short-waisted, by the way, and only
5'4".  Is the baby really on the outside of my ribs, or is it just

which ended at 12 weeks but OK I should know what to expect with the 2 full
term ones but I cant not remember when I first felt the babies kick in my
previous pregnancs. I know that its too early at the ...
going back to work and finding childcare?09 Jul 2005 21:41 GMT17
I am wondering how long should I wait after I have this baby to go back to
work.  I understand that this is a very individual decision, but I would
really appreciate some feedback.  I have a great job right now, one of the
best I've ever had.  They are very flexible to my needs, ...
