found the ultimate use for my changing table...29 Aug 2005 20:50 GMT4
So, I bought a changing table.  Every mother needs one, right? (I didn't use
one with my last child).  It's been sitting in my basement waiting for birth
time in December.  My laundry room is down there too, and I was down there
today doing massive quantities of laundry, as usual ...

any current moms involved with La Leche League?29 Aug 2005 19:11 GMT6
I am interested in finding a local support group for breastfeeding and
wonder if this program would be a good one.  It seems to have a great
reputation.

First ultrasound29 Aug 2005 18:14 GMT4
I posted a week ago about not seeing anything on my u/s.  I went to my
regular ob appt and everything turned out fine.  I saw the heartbeat
which was 130 beats a min.  Is that considered slow and aren't boys
heartbeats slower than girls?  I have had 2 girls and I remember them
This cord-clamping thing29 Aug 2005 16:13 GMT16
So why do docs do it, then, cord-clamping newborns?  There must be some
reason, surely.  I'd like to know what it is.

Well my little guy still wont sleep. Only now he seems to be rebelling
even more. In the last week he will not go down and seems to fight it
off even more. Sleeping in the same bed doesnt help. Even benedryl has
no effect. He has always been a horrible sleeper but its just getting
Night terrors? Re: 8 month old refuses to sleep29 Aug 2005 04:20 GMT3
My wife has told me that during the night the baby starts screaming in
his sleep. She has to wake him to get him to stop. He always did seem
restless even when he did fall asleep. He had 2 hospital stays and
after the second one he was never the same (cant put him down etc.) As

Mad @ OB - Vent and opinion request28 Aug 2005 22:01 GMT14
Okay ladies. I posted a while back about TTC a girl and Shettles. Well,
I charted after going off the pill, and it turned into one 3 month
chart before I just had it. I've regularly taken a test, and they had
all been negative, then on Aug. 12th, I called my ob (after yet another

I'm a self confessed lurker on this board but would like a bit of advice
from you knowledgeable folks out there!
I saw my GP last week at 35+3 who said baby was in a transverse/oblique lie.
This didn't surprise me at all as I has felt a head to one side of my belly

how much bigger are my boobs gonna get???28 Aug 2005 17:14 GMT13
It's just astounding to me...  I started out at a modest C cup - could fit a
B cup in some bras.  I am currently in a 38D but will soon outgrow this
size.  I am only 6 months pregnant and have gained just under 20 lbs,
apparently all in the boob area.
Joining the Ranks28 Aug 2005 16:36 GMT34
It appears as though I'm pregnant.  About a year or so earlier then planned
but I'm thrilled none the less. :-)  Very newly pregnant.  I've never known
this early so I'm sure time will drag!  We aren't telling anyone for a long
time yet IRL but I can't keep it totally secret, lol ...
