(small reminder that Bj is my birthson that was placed for adoption, I
include him in the comparisons because it feels appropriate)
Serafina was quite surprising to me on my first inspection of her.  Bj

Todd thought you might be interested in a passage from an old book I have
been reading.  (One of my pass times is reading old books)  The book is

written in 1897.

The Path to a healthy,nonstressful and successful pregnancy27 Aug 2005 00:41 GMT1
Pregnancy is a wonderful time. But it is also a time for
out-of-control hormones which can get a little chaotic
and stressful. But there is good news for women who
are planning to become or already are pregnant. A
Drug testing mothers in labor26 Aug 2005 22:48 GMT9
I am a lurker but I decided to come out of the shadows to ask a question
here.  I am a mother of three soon to be four, I am 33 weeks pregnant now.
With my second child my water broke at 36.6 weeks and when I went in to the
hospital they asked me alot of questions several of them ...
what is the basis for women wanting to delay cutting cord?26 Aug 2005 16:15 GMT9
I am completely ignorant to the pros or cons of cutting the cord immediately
at delivery.  No one ever told me there was a difference, so with my
daughter I didn't think twice about it.  I see alot of stuff posted here and
wonder if it's medically or religiously based, or what?
Infant/toddler Convertible car seat26 Aug 2005 12:49 GMT2
My daughter was originally using an infant car seat till about when she
was six months  old. Then per our pediatrician's recommendation - we
upgraded to Graco Comfort Sport Infant/toddler convertible car seat.
Since then she dislikes being in the carseat. It is fine if she falls
38w OB visit/GBS+ and abx clarification25 Aug 2005 20:07 GMT6
Just back from my weekly OB visit/NST.  The baby's doing fine,
I'm now measuring 40cm (39cm last week, so on track), bp
was 96/62, weight fine, urine fine.  I guess they like to do
an internal at 38w, so I had one: long and fingertip dialated,

I'm scared, is there a midwife out there who can help me interpret what
I'm experiencing...
First off, let me say that I don't want to be pregnant, so I'm scared
that I might be. This would be a really bad time...
Re-introducing myself + announcement25 Aug 2005 13:08 GMT23
Hi, all.  I've been lurking here for the last couple months in anticipation
of the announcement I get to make today.  Just confirmed last night that I'm
pregnant with #3!  We're very excited, but I find myself overwhelmed and
nervous about all the changes to come. Due date looks to ...
Weird mkp dream25 Aug 2005 07:03 GMT5
Just saw a post by Jenrose, and it reminds me of a dream
I had recently (last night? the night before?).  Someone
was showing me a cool book they'd found with an anthology
of things about pregnancy/childbirth/babies.  The first page

diff between normal leg cramps and more serious24 Aug 2005 16:32 GMT4
Hi all, I know it's pretty common to get leg cramps at night, but reading
about it in articles online they reckon "If your muscle pain is constant and
not just an occasional cramp, or if you notice swelling or tenderness in
your leg, call your physician. In rare cases, moms-to-be ...

OH MY GOD.  That's all I have to say...  Where in the heck did THESE come from???  I know that hemmorhoids are caused by constipation, so I have been extra vigilant to make sure I am regular and not straining.  Seems that did no good.  I have like 3 of them that suddenly cropped ...
