Sex after baby??22 Aug 2005 01:49 GMT28
This might be an odd question to ask, but it's been a while for us...
Amie is 2 weeks old tomorrow, and I know it's early to ask, but when did you
resume having sex after delivery?  I feel kind of bad because the last 6
months of my pregnancy, my sex drive had gone down the drain, ...
breastmilk storage and feeding21 Aug 2005 21:10 GMT3
I plan on breastfeeding, but would like to also pump additional breastmilk
to have a supply for when I may have to leave baby at home with Dad or
someone else, or for other such situations.  I was looking at the Medela
Advanced breastpump.  I had a Pump in Style 8 yrs ago and ...
Holiday Destinations With Babies21 Aug 2005 17:28 GMT4
Has anyone had any experience of going on holiday (presumably in Europe)
with a young (4 months+) child ?? I was just wondering what their experience
was and whether it was worth it ? (I suspect a travel cot will be the bare
minimum! +Lots of nappies, lol)

pt 5, chaos hits and the birthplan gets tossed out...21 Aug 2005 10:17 GMT13
Apparently after hearing the comments from my family, it appears that
it is most definitely over the top to call them names during that hard
labor, lol.  If anything, it gives me even more reason to celebrate
this birth!  Not only did I maintain an amazing amount of control over
is it normal21 Aug 2005 04:28 GMT2
Most of you are proberbly aware of the bleed I had a few weeks ago....well
that has kinda stopped but had very faint spotting on tissue today and
tonight I have badish belly pain....this is normal right just tummy growing
and all that crap....yeah
childproofing spiral staircase21 Aug 2005 03:27 GMT9
Any thoughts on childproofing an iron spiral staircase while still making it
look presentable?  All we can come up with is a gate at the bottom and
wrapping carpet around it (ick).  A gate system will not work the way the
staircase is placed within the room (or would cost a ...
It's a boy!21 Aug 2005 01:29 GMT19
Evan was finally born on Wednesday, August 10th at 7:24pm. He was a big boy
of 9 lbs 10 oz which was not the biggest shock - we were actually expecting
GIRL which was a bigger shock!
After my last posting, I went into full blown labour after lunch on the 9th.
Baby party ideas20 Aug 2005 15:50 GMT14
A colleague of mine has asked if I'd like a shower/baby
celebration.  This is our second, but our first since
moving here (excepting our loss of Scheherazade, which
this crowd did see, meaning that they probably would
PIH and subsequent pregnancy20 Aug 2005 13:45 GMT1
I am asking about this out of concern for a friend. Her last 2
pregnancies ended with delivery at 36 weeks due to PIH and also
following cerclage for imcompetent cervix at 20 weeks. (both
pregnancies.)Her blood pressre was so so high with the last child that
Hospital Bag Items20 Aug 2005 08:43 GMT29
I'm 37 weeks pregnant now, and I should probably pack the hospital bag.
However, I have no idea what to take.  The list that I have so far is:
1.  Toothbrush, toothpase, comb
2.  Overnight pads for after delivery

can exhausting day hurt baby?20 Aug 2005 08:21 GMT12
We had a busy day yesterday - I didn't do anything overly strenuous, but did
walk around all day and was extremely tired and aching by last night.  Still
feel wrecked today, and I've just been worrying that I might have somehow
affected my baby's development.  I'm at 21 weeks, ...
pt 4, potty break, transition and chaos20 Aug 2005 07:03 GMT3
After my waters were broken, the contractions while in bed remained
6-7 minutes apart.  Notice my lesson of this birth… intervention
doesn’t mean diddly when it comes to changing the labor debate.  Even
with the waters broken, the contraction pattern stayed the same.  I
Where's Amy20 Aug 2005 06:55 GMT25
